Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican

Terrible service any time I have been into this location. Barely add meat to the meal, slamming bag of chips on the counter. Multiple employees standing around conversing and laughing. Only reason I gave it another shot was because I had a gift card as I will not spend my personal money there.

I order a burrito and salad,and it was the worst sloppy put together burrito and salad I have ever seen from cafe Rio, and missing items on my salad.very disappointed in this cafe Rio.

It would be cool if the food was always made the same regardless of whether I watch them make it or not.

I ordered a salad today and got a shit ton of meat, cheese that I asked them not to add, no lime and hardly any lettuce. Thanks for the burrito, I guess.

Good luck going through the drive-thru—your food will weigh 1oz.

Ordered 2 simple burritos tonight on Door Dash, and they were both wrong. Reordered one and it was wrong again. How hard is it to read an order and get it right? Too hard I guess.

I got a grilled chicken salad today and it was absolutely disgusting. The chicken was burnt and the tortilla was so stale it snapped in half. I will never eat here again. Highly do not recommend this location.

No lettuce, tomato or salsa. I guess that's extra. Bad business.

We ordered on line, picked up in store. The drinks wasn't ready, we asked if we could get our drinks and the kid acted put out to get our our cups sowe could fill them.
The customer service is terrible there! Employees standing around, why didn't they finish the order? I don't understand that service. My family will not be going back.

This location in Tooele has really gone downhill. The service is very slow, the employees aren't trained or are lazy and don't do things correctly or the Cafe Rio way. The food isn't as good, and my tostada tonight was just pathetic-looking. One of the workers, while kind and smiley, kept touching their glasses and hat, and then the cash register and then the food again. Change your gloves! The soda fountain ice dispenser keeps being out of order, so they plop a large open bowl of ice on the counter with a communal scoop. Super gross. I saw an employee wearing gloves and they pressed down some trash in the trash can and then proceeded to wipe tables without changing gloves. Also, the restaurant is open until 11pm tonight, but at 9pm they have 3/4 of the tables with chairs on top and "wet floor" signs blocking sections of the seating area. Overall an incredibly disappointing experience, for the last several weeks/months.

Getting harder to be a return customer

There was an employee who kept things clean and offered to take our trays for us. She chatted a bit with us and was so personable and sweet! I wish I had asked her name. She has a cute flying pig pin on her hat, and I adore her!

I placed an order online to have my food ready by 5:10 PM. I didn't walk out of the restaurant with my food until after 6 PM. The staff said their online system wasn't working properly and that they had to wait for the meat to cook. I watched as they filled other orders before mine. I finally get to eat my food and realize the order is wrong, some of the meat is raw, and to top it off, they forgot my kid's drink.

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at a Cafe Rio.
