The staff at Simply Bliss are always very friendly, Tracey is always helpful and quick to get us our food. The owners are also personable, Doug is always talking to everyone and making sure what they ordered was good and if there's anything they can do to improve it, he truly cares about his customers satisfaction. The Fat Kid Taco is a must try here, it's my favorite thing on the menu.

Since moving to Tooele, I’ve wanted to find fun and unique places to eat. Today, I have found a place that I would highly recommend to everyone! The location is a bit tricky to track down, especially since Google Maps takes you to the wrong place. Simply Bliss is INSIDE the Tooele Technical College. Walk in the main doors and head left.Maybe you’ve thought not to come here BECAUSE it is in the college, but don’t let that stop you from enjoying some amazing food! When I first got there, the owner, “The Fat Kid” asked me and my wife if we wanted to be Guinea pigs. Normally, I’d say no if it was my first visit, but we decided to take the risk. We were offered an open-faced meatball sub, made on a Hawaiian bun, with toasted provolone, the meatballs and marinara (please note, I can’t confirm if this will or won’t be a menu item in the future). This was a very delicious meal!To break everything down, the meatball flavor is fantastic! They were excellently cooked with some awesome browning on the exterior. If this sandwich was just these naked meatballs, I’d be happy with it. However, the marinara sauce was incredible! An amazing compliment to the meatballs. The marinara was the king of the show! It had such a good flavor and mouthfeel. It’s one of the very few marinaras that I could eat on its own (and I did when there was some left on my plate at the end). “The Fat Kid” came and talked to us afterward and explained that they make their marinara and let it slow n’ low cook for a full day, which only adds to its incredible blend of flavors! It’s details like this that let me know that this guy isn’t just running a business because he needs to work. This guy runs this business because he is absolutely passionate about what he does! He loves his food, he loves sharing his food, and he wants others to experience his joy that his recipes bring.Next was the whole open-faced sandwich put together. It was a great sandwich! The marinara and the meatballs stole the show, but on top of the Hawaiian bun gave it a pleasant sweet undertone toward the end of each bite. I normally don’t like really sweet things for my meals, or at least the entree. But the bun provided just a nice, pleasant afterthought to wrap everything together. I was happy with this and could easily eat it again. Now, I’ve been doing some physical labor today so I was still very hungry, so I ordered one of the Fat Kid Tacos. The pork was very delicious, I even had to pick out some of the smoked crust bits to enjoy on its own. The coleslaw on top was good too, but I’d have to have it on its own sometimes to really give it a fair assessment, because it had a bit too much Mayo in my opinion, but was that already an addition to the taco, or was it just the coleslaw? I can’t say. The bbq sauce they use is house-made, and it really brought everything together. I do think that maybe there was a bit too much sauce on it for me, but that doesn’t make it any less good, it just means my face and beard got more messy as I shoved it in my face. All in all, I’m absolutely coming back to this place! If this experience was this delicious this time, what does everything else on the menu taste like? Will I be torn each time I go in because I won’t know what to try next? Yeah, I actually do think that is how it’ll go.Of the entire review, the only thing I’d mark down is the atmosphere and that is ONLY because it is in a college, and I’m sure they don’t have a lot of control over that.If you’re wanting some place new, I’d highly recommend going here!
