The food, service, and atmosphere were all good. The price was a little on the higher side for a family-owned restaurant, but the salad bar was a really cool experience.

The food came out very fast. My only small issue was that the taco shells were a bit soggy, and I wish they had been a little fresher. Other than that, everything was good.

Their tamales are awful. They taste like theyve been frozen for a month and just reheated in the microwave. Their tacos were slightly better better but still abismal compared to various offerings from other Mexican restaurants in the area
They had excellent friendly service from their waiters but that's not enough to eat overpriced bad food.
Both tamales and tacos are over $3.25 dollars each, when there are several other options in West Valley/SLC for as low as half priced and miles tastier.
My first impression of Vista Linda was very poor. They appear to be taking advantage of a small towns lack of Mexican cuisine, by provide subpar food at a high quality restaurant price.

I want to start out by saying the service was amazing! The chips and salsa were good. But for the food, super unimpressive. The hubby got a carne asada burrito. It literally had maybe five pieces of meat in the whole burrito. And I had the smothered burrito. But they just smother it with salsa basically and it was a tad bitter. The horchata taste like the powder kind. We won’t be going back any time soon.

Tasted pretty good, good for Tooele area at least, but we will not go back. It is extremely expensive for the amount of food you get. My burrito was 1/3 tortilla, I got extra meat, and the burrito was maybe 1/2in thick and 2in wide. For a $20 burrito, it should be more food. Beans are soup, rice was the greasiest rice I've ever eaten. Churros were hard, dry, barely seasoned, and all together for two people it was over $60. It's a bummer you can't get good food anymore anywhere.

Some of the best mexican food in the state and easily the best in tooele. Great friendly service. Mole, sauces and salsas were interesting in the best way.

Pretty good Mexican restaurant. The place is clean, lots of seating, not great for large groups though, mostly booths. Food came out so quickly, the birria tacos are fantastic, the fajitas were good but all the steak pieces were full of fat and chewy, other than that food and service were good.

I went in to get some asada fries and was disappointed because they used smashed up hamburger patties rather than sliced steak

Peter Nadeau

Awesome mexican fare.
