Preface: I am a very hard rater, three stars means you’re good, four stars is really good and five is very rare, with exceptional value and service. This place has good food. They got food made quickly. They did not have fountain drinks, only canned drinks to purchase, so no refills available. Also, be careful of the tipping option that they present when you pay/before they have even served you. They do bring your food out to you, but that is it, they don’t check on you to see if you need anything. They even have you clear your own table, scrape your unfinished food into a garbage and then put your dishes in a bin. I was glad I did not tip when I saw this. Overall a clean place with good food and reasonable service.

The Autentico truck in Torrey is a good place to stop for a meal. I enjoyed the Nopales burrito, but the tough Carne Asada meat remains true. The flavor of the food was still good, so it gets 5 stars from me.

Convenient pit stop in Torrey when visiting Capital Reef National Park. My Autentico experience was good, but could have been better. Despite how tasty my beef tacos with nopales was, I disliked how my steak was put in my tacos uncut. I had to rip pieces off with my teeth on each bite.

Based on the glowing reviews, 5 stars with many reviews, had to give this a try while traveling thru Torrey during our short visit to capital reef. My husband and I had the steak tacos and thought they were mediocre at best. It was beef steak and quite tough. Not sure what we missed. Owners were very pleasant.

While the location and service were terrific, the spice on the nopales taco I decided on was rather underwhelming. It felt as if it was missing something even when adding the flavorful green sauce they provided.
If I were back in the area, I would definitely try another one of their dishes!

Wow. Please do yourself a favor and come eat here. We had the taco platter, two Al Pastor tacos with rice and beans plus my wife had the carne quesadilla. Both were incredible. 10/10 would highly recommend!

We were in town to visit Capitol Reef and there were many choices of food. However, after we returned from our hike, Mexican food was what everyone was craving. Based on the 100+ 5 star reviews, we were enticed! The 5 star reviews were no lie. Hands down best Mexican food I’ve ever had; fresh, generous portions, and delicious! The staff were very friendly; we appreciate the awesome service! We will be back for sure! Thank you!
