My dad talked this place up for years as the best burger he's ever had, traveling hours to get his Capitol Burger fix, so I came in with high expectations. Needless to say my expectations were met. I'm no burger connoisseur, but this was easily the best I've ever had. Had a regular cheeseburger. Patty was thick, juicy, and fresh. Veggies were crisp and plentiful (I didn't think I'd ever enjoy that much lettuce on a burger, but I certainly did). Sauce was a bit messy, but the correct amount of messy. Fries were fine. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Highly recommend.

Capitol Burger in Torrey – hands down the best burger we had on our 2025 USA trip! Super friendly staff and incredibly delicious food. Juicy, fresh, and full of flavor. If you love burgers, this place is a must! Don’t miss it when you’re heading toward Capitol Reef and passing through Torrey. Thank you – best burger in Utah!

Fantastic burgers. Mushroom blue is my all time favorite. I hate mushrooms and blue cheese but somehow the burger is bomb. I don't know how they do it.

The burger I had from Capitol Burger was absolutely delicious. Four of us scarfed down burgers and fries after a hike in the park and to say it hit the spot is an understatement. We made such happy noises while eating that our neighbor at the campsite asked us where we had gotten the food 😆 Don’t miss this gem- incredible food, reasonably priced, friendly service. I only wish the owners at Capitol Burger would bring their truck to Zion (where we live!)

Who would have thought that you can find the most delicious burger of the United States somewhere in between the deserts of Utah? We had the Beyond Burger. (I've been living in the NYC & the Seattle regions for 2 years and didn't eat a burger that tasty). And the staff is also super-friendly!

Incredible! I hope you will be here next time if we ever return to this region.

And you can nicely sit outside at the tables next to Chuck's Wagon General Store.

We tried the Cheese Burger and the Mac N Cheese Burger - everything was very delicious. Unfortunately, we couldn't eat directly at the food truck.

We had the Mac And Cheese burgers and fries. Very good burger for a food truck. Don't shy away.

Amazing burger! I got done with an UTV ride from Capitol Reef outfitters and Wayne (our guide) recommended it and I’m so glad I went! I wish I lived near here so I could have more!

OUTSTANDING/ amazing burger! I wish my stomach was bigger so that I could eat four more of them. and the best part is, if you ask the owner, he will sing you a funny song. it’s like a yummy and charming musical adventure! #thosepicklestho

The burger is so messy that you can’t even enjoy it. The burger had so much sauce that both the paper it was wrapped in and the little tray/container disintegrated/were mush/soaked through. And there was so much lettuce that everything slipped out of the bun. So, we couldn’t eat it. It became a messy pile on our table and we had to pinch off pieces in order to consume any of it.

AND THEN, the fries, there were barely any fries in the container - the tray/basket was about 1/3 full. For $3.50 why can’t you fill up the fries?

The packaging is cute, looks like In n Out.

The burger sauce is kind of like Animal sauce. The fries are very similar to In n Out. The burger just isn’t contained enough for takeout (needs less sauce and full leaves of iceberg instead of little pieces, that make everything slip around). Also, they use pickled cucumber (very thinly sliced, which add to the slipperiness, and don’t have a lot of flavor or texture), instead of pickle chips. And the cheese wasn’t melty, it was crusty, just fyi.

The service was very friendly.
