Bigfoot Approved! Apple BBQ sauce is the best
If you’re in Capitol Reed National Park, or even just driving through, do yourself a favor and go to Gifford house!!! We got two cinnamon rolls and the mixed berry pie and omg 🤤🤤🤤 they were both SO good. Made fresh that morning and I’m drooling literally thinking about how good the pie was. Fresh. Not too sweet. You could even get homemade ice cream to go with it.
They also have jams, salsas, and other goodies that are delish and make perfect gifts!

We had the pleasure of tasting the fruit pies from Gifford House & Museum Store, and they were absolutely outstanding! Both the mixed berry and the apple pies were excellent — packed generously with fresh fruit, perfectly balanced in sweetness (which is quite rare in the U.S.), and featuring a delightfully crisp and flaky crust. The quality and freshness of the ingredients truly shine through. These pies are a must-try for anyone visiting the area — homemade goodness at its best!

We were hoping to try the apple pie, but it was sold out by the time we arrived. Instead, we had the cherry pie, and it was absolutely delicious! If pies are available when you visit, definitely grab one, they’re so tasty and worth it! We also tried the vanilla and chocolate ice creams they had, and those were good too.

The place to get the most amazing pies, the apple was my favorite,
The $8 strawberry rhubarb pie was yum!
A wonderful place to get some pie or cinnamon buns. They also have lots of scented candles, honey and other goods to purchase as well as bottled water.
The pie is worth the wait in line! Serves one
One of the best pies I’ve ever had!
A staff member showed me the ingredient list and yes, pies without crumble topping are vegan (today that was strawberry rhubarb, cherry, and peach). The pie was yummy but not life-changing. $9 each with tax seems like a lot, but it's not common to find a vegan treat inside a national park.
Eating pie was a good start to our morning before hiking! We got the mixed berry, apple, and cherry pie. We really enjoyed the mixed berry and cherry! These pies were typical but very good.
There are tables outside where you can eat and enjoy the landscape and horses nearby.
The place seemed to get more packed as the day went on.
The pumpkin pie 🤤🤤🤤❤️❤️!!!
Cute, tiny shop with a few pioneer history souvenirs. Tasty pie- but know that it is NOT made at the park and only made with local fruit when in season. Ice cream is tiny tubs and not fresh. Be aware the open hours are very minimal.
Delicious pies and cinnamon rolls. They have a lot of good quality and cute souvenirs as well. Herd of deer across the road.
