A very enjoyable meal. I arrived early Friday, alone, was warmly greated and seated at a corner table with amazing views from two windows.
My waitress was from Torrey and was very pleasant and helpful. Her timing was perfect bringing everything I needed when it was needed and checking on me to be sure there was nothing more she could bring me, but she never coming annoyingly too often.
I had a salad, a roll, roasted chicken with honey sauce and a roasted acorn squash half. It was all very good.
I am staying obe noght at the adjacent motel, but I woukd like to be stating longer so I coukd eat here every day!
Some have complained about the high prices, but I feel that given the proximity to many amazing natural attractions and the nice restaurant environment the prices are reasonable. This qualify of service and food just typically costs more. (I had a burger for lunch in town that cost almost as much as this nice meal in a nice place.)
My only regret is that my road trip will take me away and I will not be able to eat here again.

We dined here recently while visiting Capitol Reef. Before our trip I had researched this restaurant and because the reviews were good and our hotel was right across the street, it was a perfect location and we were looking forward to a nice dinner. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. It was very busy, but our waitress did a great job however our food was not good. Both my husband's dinner and mine were overcooked and very dry. My husband had the Ribs, which we were both looking forward too, and I decided at the last minute to have the special that evening which was Salmon. Even the Bake Potato was overcooked. The views were amazing, and that Atmosphere was nice...the food, unfortunately was not worth the visit.
Everything was going very well, but that top sirloin steak came out with about five bites worth of steak. This was the first time in my entire life I had to ask to take it off the bill. $28 is too much. Recommend putting the ounces on the menu. Looked like 4 oz.

The environment is so great, just surrounded by the red rocks. The food is very tasty, we ordered salmon, steak, pork, spaghetti, etc, everyone is satisfied with the food. The price is fair. And they also have yummy ice cream!

Food was nothing special for both of us. Great views, worth an extra star. Go to the broken spur for a better meal ( we had to wait 20 minutes).
