Our family ate dinner here twice during our stay in the lodge.
The food and service we had was very good.
We enjoyed The Lodge at Bryce Canyon Restaurant a lot more than our terrible experience we had with the nearby Dark Ranger Telescope.
Not as bad as other reviews say. Decent food at decent prices. Some flavor. Good fries. Trail bowl was filling and had just a hint of spice. Kids scarffed their noodle bowls after a hiking day.
Weird top 40 music going in a historic building with a classic American food restaurant. Windows open getting that awesome mountain air.
I would recommend it to those going to the park.
There was a line to be seated as we left. The service was slow to start with and I bet it would be pretty bad when it gets busy.
Great place to eat which is right inside Bryce National Park between sunrise and sunset points!
Disappointing to see a waitress with a “bring back Trump” sticker on her radio… is that allowed?! At a national park?!
staff are not friendly here and food is average

Eating breakfast at the lodge was just OK, be sure to ask for a spoon which is not provided, the reason there is not enough. Not many eating options for breakfast.

Highly recommend the southwest ceasar salad, it was delicious! The portion was generous so a protein was not even needed.

Famous for their elk chili this was a great post-hike stop to take in some of Bryce Canyon's history. They offer entrees or buffet, which consists of soup, salad, chili and deserts.

My husband and I had 3 consecutive dinners at the lodge this week and were happy every time. We stuck to simple orders, mostly salads, but always fresh and tasty. The service was consistently outstanding and we were usually seated promptly. I’ve seen several less favorable reviews so wanted to post a more positive one based on our recent experience.

My group of around 6 people came to this restaurant while the buffet was up. The buffet had a decent selection of foods. The "Elk Chili" has beef in it, so I'm not sure why they would try to include an elk product on their menu when it is paired with beef and only tasted of beef. We all finished our food and our server quickly put a single check on the table - he never asked us how we were separating the bill or anything. He disappeared for quite a while with no explanation. Then, it took about 10 minutes to get someone to separate the bill for us.

We went there for lunch, there was the salad buffet or the à la carte dishes. Both were very good, and the service impeccable.

We were seated quickly and enjoyed chicken wings, grilled trout, shrimp fettuccine and lemon cake. The food was served quickly, hot and delicious ?

Had 2 great servers, Angela and William, several good servers and 2 horrible hostesses. Also one poor barista at the Pizza Cafe. The front desk was also so so. Visited 7 National Parks on this trip and the Bryce Lodge was by far the worst!

There's racism. Anyone don't even come to pick up orders for a long time, they treat us like invisible people. I felt very bad. It's a disgrace to the United States. Shame on you

What a place… from start, when we arrived, the hostess was not greeting us, she was just staring us (we look normal, okay) and I was staring back - what the heck? Then she slowly understood we were there to eat and asked if it was for two?
When we got our coffee and lemonade, I was asking for a straw. The waitress said there is a no straw policy on the property. What the heck nr. 2. I said OK, then I don’t want my lemonade, thank you. She was asking back “really?” and made a face. When she came back to take our orders, my friend did notice to her thst the coffee taste like it was brewed the day before. Ger answer: “it was freshly brewed 10 minutes ago.” She was showing an attitude during this conversation so decided I don’t want to eat anything there.
My friend was ordering the lemon cake, I was getting a bite from it and I had diarrhea for 3 days.
Of course - never again.
