This restaurant literally saved us from eating frozen food 🍱

During our recent visit to Bryce Canyon Ntl park, We were in Tropic for one night stay, found several food options on google, but as we drove through the town none of the places were open, except this one and naturally it was peak hour scene until restaurant’s closing hours.

Yet, they served some amazing food 🥘! We ordered some tortilla chips- which were fresh and crispy!!!

We also ordered pesto pasta and a chicken dish. Pesto pasta was the show stopper, but the chicken was a bit too dry for dinner. But I guess the side of beer made it all balanced.

Despite the long wait and dry chicken, I would rate my experience of this restaurant, a solid 4 out of 5. I really appreciate their effort to keep the business open for those who turn up with hope.

If i am in the area again, I will visit this place and try out more things on the menu 🤞❤️.

We stopped by here on my birthday a few months ago since the ratings seemed decent. We were heavily disappointed. We waited over 40 minutes to get our food. We kept seeing people who came in AFTER us get serviced prior to us. The breakfast was fine, nothing extraordinary but the wait for our food really is what ruined the experience for us. Another couple had said the same thing. They were out of town for a birthday and they too were disappointed how long it took to get their food, etc.

We stopped in about 2pm in between lunch n dinner. Back in late Oct , sorry for the late review. They were great about letting me order dinner pasta and make a change to it. The food and service were very good!! Isaiah was our waiter and he was so nice and helpful!! We'd go back in a minute!! And it was real alfredo sauce, which is rare. So many places don't make it fresh and authentically!!!

Had the vegetaria alfredo pasta with a salad as a side. Both were ok as long as you not expect super high quality. Salad could be served on room temparature. Some ingredients were served too cold.

The service was very friendly. The restaurant was very clean and had comfortable seating. The menu is huge, as are the portions. And the food was good.

We had a delicious meal here and had a nice time. We were helped well by the service and they had a good (and extensive) menu with tasty side dishes. Highly recommended if you are looking for a restaurant in the Bryce area!

This is your middle of nowhere, extensively varied, with a voluminous menu, pretty darn decent cooking, a very spacious setting, super friendly staff place for eats – of almost anything you desire! Considering there’s pretty much nowhere else to go, we must say, their offerings are good, no, very good. The selections run the gamut for everyone in the family, from typical American to BBQ, from Pastas to Mexican, from steak to sea food, just to mention a few. Oh, did I mention beer and wine? We stopped in for breakfast recently while visiting Bryce Canyon National Park and found it to hit just the right spot for our hunger pangs. I had a well-prepared Ham and Cheese Omelet on the requested soft with Hash Browns, great hash browns and a fabulous Sourdough bread and my wife enjoyed her Ham and Cheese Omelet well done also with Hash Browns and but with Rye Bread. Fab! This is an eats joint way out yonder that you can actually count on for a great meal. No need for a fast-food joint around here. This is most definitely a recommended place for victuals when in the area.

Pesto Pasta was okay to mediocre, Alfredo Pasta was okay, and Fairyland Chicken Dinner grilled chicken was dry and flat, covered with deli ham slices and rubbery Swiss cheese - that dish is not recommended.

Dietary restrictions: Bad on allergies - after handing the waitress a card listing my allergies (including peppers) I was brought peppers in the mixed vegetables I was told would be carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower.

Got a steak, it was expensive but sure tasted like an ultra cheap cut and presentation was poor with it extremely thin and wide. Definitely don’t recommend. Some in party had pasta and it was decent.

This is a local restaurant with a variety of foods. We came in the off-season, so we did not have high expectations. That SAID, this place was packed! Our waitress was friendly and attentive despite being what appeared to be their only waitstaff working that night. I ordered the flat iron steak, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The dutch oven potatoes were equally delicious, as were the actual mashed potatoes (not spuds - REAL potatoes!). My husband ordered the ribeye, which was not as well-seasoned and was cut thinner than he'd prefer. Overall, we would both recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area and wanting to support local!

Stopped here while visiting Bryce National Park for a quick dinner. Food & service was very good. Portions were generous. I would recommend it if looking for a relaxed atmosphere and reasonably priced meal!

We ate here two nights in a row. The first night we had the flat iron steak, medium rare, and it was perfectly cooked. The new night we had the red trout and it was also well prepared. The beef and fish portions were a nice size. The small side salad was basic, but a nice portion. The mixed vegetables were a nice surprise. It think it was broccolini with some baby root vegetables, like carrots with radish or turnip. Our second night we shared a slice of Grandma's 5 fruit pie. Great flaky crust, you could taste the different fruit, and not too much sugar. Get it ala mode.

Very good experience for a group of 6 people. Welcoming and warm staff. We all ate very well, the meat was perfectly cooked and excellent, the side dishes were very good, as were the desserts. We highly recommend this restaurant!
