Absolutely delicious pizza. The staff were some of the kindest that I’ve come across in the restaurant biz. Will definitely be back when we come visit Verbal again!

Terrible taste, ingredients? Not sure but made me sick I had a classic pepperoni, as well as their chicken bacon ranch pizza. I was able to stomach about one slice from each. If you want good pizza just head to Antica

You don't need to check out any other places in Vernal, trust me, this is THE pizza place in town! We were there overnight after a rafting trip, and called to order a dozen pizzas for our large group. It was all amazing! We ordered several different types - excellent! They even called me back to say there were going to be done ahead of schedule! Who does that! No delivery driver available that night, which you find in a small town sometimes, but they were right down the road, as most things are in Vernal!

I ordered a supreme or combo pizza has zero flavor not even a pepperoni has flavor. It wasn’t worth the $50. I paid for that and garlic bread with no garlic. What kind of pizza places is this?

One Glaring Issue But Some Good Things
We’re not from Vernal and we came here for dinner before our long drive home. We came because we love pizza and it’s suggested on a food guide for the town.
We looked at the special for the day and it listed for Monday “2 14in 1 or 2 Toppings
Twisted Bread - $28” it felt like a good deal so we were looking at what the topping options were. The toppings were listed as follows: Pepperoni, Itallan Sausage, Ham, Black Olives, Red Peppers, Green Peppers, Mushrooms, Onions, Pineapple, Canadian Bacon, Tomato, Diced CHICKEN, Jalapeños, BACON, SUB ALFREDO BASE, Sub BBQ Base.
The menu also lists that “Each additional topping [for a 14” is] $2”
So this is how I ordered. “We’d like to do the 2 pizza special. For the first pizza we’ll do half cheese half pepperoni. And for the second we’d like to do the sub Alfredo base and bacon and then pay extra $2 to add chicken.”
“Sorry that’s a specialty pizza so we can’t do that.”
Confused I look at the menu. There is a Chicken Bacon Ranch specialty pizza that lists: Alfredo base, Chicken, Bacon, Mozzarella Cheese, drizzled Ranch
I understood what she was saying but the fact that it lists those options as toppings and it’s a 2 topping pizza I don’t actually understand what the problem is. If they don’t want that to happen to me that means they need to not list Alfredo or something as a topping option. I tried to explain why I chose those options because they are listed. (For reference when not on the Monday night special Specialty pizzas at this size are $19 and a regular 2 topping this size is $17). She was very hesitant and didn’t really know how to respond besides, “we just don’t do that. It’s a speciality pizza.” She then said she could ask her manager. I politely thanked her and she asked her manager. She came back and still said, “It’s a speciality pizza we can’t do that.” Disappointed I didn’t really know what to do. I didn’t understand what I could choose if that was the case. What if I chose other toppings that would result in the same problem. I hesitantly said we’d just do the Alfredo and bacon then. She almost didn’t let us do that but she just went with it.
As my husband paid I went to take our kids to the table and saw tucked behind some stuff a sign that said that they charge a 3% charge for all cards. Before I could tell my husband we’d just use cash he had already paid. I was bothered that the sign wasn’t more clear. We got seated and when my husband came with the water cups he told me that they were .50¢ each. I sighed in frustration. That was listed on their sign when I went back to look but because water cups are almost always complimentary and with the other things I was just bothered. I want it to be said we were very polite and weren’t ones to make a big fuss about it.
Now the food was pretty good and the place itself was nice and spacious so it does have some things going for it I just find that setting up a customer for a problem like that because of the way you have your menu listed makes the customer feel awkward and kind of ruins the experience. I would suggest that the menu be adjusted so it doesn’t allow for something you don’t allow. Maybe some toppings be listed as specialty toppings and make them a little more. I don’t know it just should be adjusted to avoid such an awkward exchange in the future.
