I got the 3 ribs with mash potatoes and green beans. We also got the hamburger steak with mash potatoes and green beans.Before the meal, I had a salad and cup of soup. We also had scones with butter. I like looking at the little general store that has souvenirs and other trinkets.

Really high ratings but we didn't have a great service here. Seated quickly and then nobody came to our table for more than 10 minutes. Place wasn't very busy on the night that we came but it was pretty loud and lots of plates and dishes were being dropped everywhere. Almost like it was a competition. We just came for dessert and coffee and once we got visited by our waitress whose name is in the receipt she was very abrupt and short with us. She came back about 5 minutes later and got us our coffee and then came back 10 minutes later to get our dessert order. I have to say the desert was really good, the apple nachos was one of the best desserts I've ever had anywhere. It's kind of amazing though that both of these desserts are $6.99 one of them is barely enough for one person and the other one is enough for five people. I don't think I'm coming back here.

Traveled all the way from Aurora, CO to try their scones and corn chowder....ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!! Also had the Grilled Ham and Cheese sandwich with fries, ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! Vernal....y'all got to fill this place up daily!!!

Disgusting breakfast. Presented as they never have before. I balked at it. The owner/manager told me I was disgusting when I described his food as such. I walked out - he kept chastising me as I left. NEVER AGAIN. Go elsewhere. Vernal has MANY options and this DUMP needs to go out of business.

This place has a fancy name and good reviews, but in reality, the food is bland and way overpriced. For $7, my son got a bowel of boxed Mac and cheese (and they forgot his fries and drink), and my husband and I had $18 oz steak each, which came with veggies that were obviously from a frozen bag. The “salad” that came with it was literally a few pickles and, I am not kidding you, a few strands of lettuce… which they were supposed to give us dressing for? My husband chose ranch and I chose blue cheese dressing, which we both didn’t get. We thought this would be a good place for Keto since it had a “Protein Diet” section of the menu, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. $80 for my husband and I and are three kids. Absolutely AWEFUL for the price. And the stake was bland and undercooked too. I hate giving bad reviews but I feel like people need to get their expectations right for this place.

I went back in to get it corrected and they coached me on how to order my food! We eat here every week and have never had a problem no idea what they were thinking.

Absolutely one of the worst breakfasts I've ever had. The steak was so overly salted, and well done instead of medium like requested,and the biscuits and pan gravy tasted like old grease. We complained to the cashier and she said she would never tell the cook how bad we thought the food was because she's the owners daughter and thinks her food is great. Ha. We will never ever be back, especially after hearing people who work there are scared of the owners daughter. Sad.
