Cafe Rio in vernal used to be fantastic. However, it has drastically gone down hill. The customer service is awful, everyone working there is inconvenienced by you being there. The food quality has dropped as well as the accuracy of orders. Corporate or management needs to step in. This will be the last time we visit.

Shooting Fan

I paid over $40 for a single salad through Uber Eats. I paid for extra grilled chicken and only received 2 small strips of chicken about 1/4 of a basic order. I tried calling their fake number from two different phone numbers and it didn’t ring once. Not happy, no customer service, awful. So dishonest.

I finally got in store and complained in person and they made everything right. People make mistakes and they had no problem making it right. Will come back for sure.

Food was like normal Cafe Rio good.
Employees working tonight was not pleasant at all! They took away the horchata, limeade and sweet prickly pear drinks at 9pm when they don't close until 10! Do better Cafe Rio.
Jacob working was very friendly and they stopped him from making our order to go clean tables.

Had a great experience. Eiliena Escobar was extremely helpful when my order was messed up, she had it fixed asap and was very sweet and respectful. It was apparent she stays busy and has a great work ethic. Bravo

Every time I come into this place, it seems as though every single employee is slumped in a deep depression, staring off into space with cold dead eyes as if someone pissed in all of their cheerios at once... The food is very mediocre, the guacamole is turning brown, and the horchata is so watered down you can barely taste it. Who runs this place? I would be ashamed if I was the owner

Food was great but your staff needs to be better. Walked in to get my mobile order and was met with the silent treatment and eye rolls for being nothing but polite. Misery likes company I guess.

I’ve been to a lot of Cafe Rio’s and this one, at least on the night we went, was terrible. It took about 30 minutes to get my food ordered in line until I paid and there were only 4 people in front of me. The burritos were great but the horchata was very watered down and disappointing.

Not one employee was wearing a name tag, which was concerning. I have never been treated so rudely at a restaurant. Katherine was extremely rude and unprofessional—a simple question about adding salsa completely changed her attitude toward me. When I pointed it out, she responded, “You better watch it.” I was shocked.

I later asked the wonderful cashier Kara—who was very friendly and professional—for names. The ‘manager’ (lady with big eyes and double chin) then reprimanded her for providing Katherine’s name.

I am honestly shocked that employees can act this unprofessionally. Not one smile in this place except for Kara.

I went here with my friends I’ve been to this cafe Rio a couple of times and every time there is this guy there that has a bun and he barley puts any meat on my stuff and everyone knows him he’s been doing the same thing repeatedly to everyone if I’m going to be paying 14 dollars for a quesadilla and my friend asked him for extra meat and he got annoyed about it I don’t just want to be paying for meat and cheese I love this cafe Rio and it’s sad to see it go down because people don’t care anymore but overall it did taste good I just wish he gave more toppings on it
