The waitress was friendly but the place is a bit of a dive. I had to keep running to the bar for drink refills and our order was incorrect which was a bummer. Food was just ok and seemed a bit overpriced all things considered. If you’re in the area I’d recommend Vernal Brewing Company around the corner (their sister location I believe). It’s a much better atmosphere and food at a similar price.

My sister and I went in to get lunch at 11:30, we walked in and was not greeted by the woman behind the counter which is fine so we found a seat and began to look at the menu. Some time had passed and no one had acknowledged us, mind you we were the only people in the restaurant so it’s not like attention was divided elsewhere. My sister decided to go back up to the counter to make sure the girl saw we were there in case she just didn’t notice. She continued to ignore us. We stayed sat at our table for about ten more minutes once the girl finally walked by with two pitchers of water and said she would be right back with us. We waited about 5 minutes again and she was just back standing behind the front counter. Still had not been serviced or helped after waiting a total of 20 minutes and being the only people there, we got up and left. We decided to have lunch at Wingers instead. It’s a shame because the food here is typically pretty decent.

What a great meal we had on our first day in Vernal. The burgers & fish were spot on & good to the last bite. Staff were attentive & made several suggestions on what to see while we were in town.

Wow! I was genuinely surprised with the service and food here. The waitress was very very attentive and made sure all our needs were met. The food, goodness. The best fried pickles I have ever had. The cheese steak, burger and ribs on point. I cannot say enough about this place. Do give this place a try. I promise you won't regret the choice.

Recently visited on our way thru on vacation and the food was so good! Literally the best we had the whole week we were on vacation. We had Chicken strips, a burger and a club sandwich and they were all so good and a great price point as well.

Last few times we’ve been there food hasn’t been good. Fish overcooked and onion rings not cooked enough. They have redone their menu and taken off the homemade fries and a few other items. Will not be going there again until they bring back the homemade fries. Come on potatoes are not that expensive. It seems like they are getting cheap all around. Used to be a great place. NOW IT SUCKS!!

I highly recommend this place. This was so good, like words cannot describe how good this place was. I would be willing to drive from SLC just to visit again.
We read a lot of negative reviews about the fries. I have no complaints they were really good. A crisp outside warm soft inside. I ordered a simple cheeseburger which was amazing. My wife ordered a cheesesteak which she commented was very good. My daughter got chicken tenders, which I also enjoyed. The do serve alcohol and its base theme is a bar but felt very kid friendly.
