Reminds me of the local Mexican restaurant back home that was so good they had two locations in the same town.
This restaurant is the best one in Vernal so far all-around when you consider price, atmosphere, service, and food. Service was top-notch!
Went out to lunch with a friend and the price was fitting for the portions and better or same than food truck prices. I really appreciated that in my two enchilada plate, I could try two sauces, so between my friend and I, we got to try four sauces and they were all good! The beans, rice, chips, and salsa were all on point! Exactly what I would expect. I also appreciated the pickled veggies that came with the chips. Food overall was flavorful and as expected without feeling too heavy.
Will be back with the family!

Bad Birthday lunch vibe!
We have always loved Mi Hacienda and have had wonderful service in the past, which is why today was such a surprise. We went for my son’s birthday lunch with a group of 10, and while it started off great, things quickly went downhill.
Our waitress accidentally spilled part of a drink on my daughter — no big deal, accidents happen. But after our food arrived, she never came back to check on us. We all finished eating and sat for quite a while with our plates still on the table, hoping to order dessert for the birthday celebration. My husband finally asked someone for our waitress, we were told she had gone on a break. That struck us as odd since she was in the middle of serving a large table, and there was not handoff like I’m going on break and so and so will be taking care of you!
When the fill I waitress returned, she simply brought us our tickets. Never asking us how we wanted to handle the bill, I was planning on picking up the tab which I would have told the waitress if she had ever come back.
Then mentioned it was my son’s birthday and that we were hoping to order dessert. Her response was, “Well, it’s free,” said in a tone that felt less than caring tone. We thought maybe she would bring a desert menu, but she brought just the birthday, dessert, placed it in front of my son without asking if anyone else wanted to order something. Then she asked, in a rather dismissive way, “Did you guys want to sing? We’re short-handed.” It wasn’t so much the words as the tone — it felt like we were bothering her. We ended up singing ourselves, but by then the atmosphere felt awkward and rushed, as if we were being pushed out.
This all happened around 2 p.m., not even a busy dinner rush. The experience took away from what we had hoped would be a fun birthday lunch. We’ve always enjoyed this restaurant, but this visit was disappointing and not up to the service we’ve come to expect from Mi Hacienda. I had never seen this particular waitress before (short hair, redish bob). Wished we had gone somewhere else!

Amazing food and great service!! Gabi was our waitress and she killed it! Thank you Gabi!!! Very attentive and great recommendations. Shrimp enchiladas were FIRE!! The beer was served with a frozen mug with a salted rim!!! This place was great!! 10/10. So far Vernal has a 8.5/10 for food I’ve eaten here!!!but this place ranks in my top 3!!!

An excellent restaurant, clean, with good service, good food, and a pleasant atmosphere. You can bring your whole family and they'll set up a family table for you. The waitresses speak Spanish and English, and they serve a lunch menu until 3 pm at a good price. It's truly a good restaurant.

This is amazing Mexican food! I enjoy eating at Mexican restaurants and this is the best I’ve had in a while. We enjoyed Carnitas Chimichangas and chicken taquitos appetizer. Huge plates of goodness!

My husband and I came here for lunch and it was really really delicious! There was only one other table at the time, it was slow. Everything tasted delicious, I had a smothered burrito and he had flautas! I know lunch is usually less expensive around here, our total was just over $30, so overall 10/10!
Great drinks! Great food! (Opinion) no review. I wish there were flautas or taquitos that are made with corn tortillas. Also caldo de pollo. tacos the American way, fried shell with chicken or ground beef, lettuce tomato cheese. Fideo. I’ve yet to see a Mexican restaurant in the north west to have pork chile verde with potatoes on a menu, or asado. I feel there could be way more delicious dishes to be added to your menu. Ok sorry for my two cents bye

The service here stinks. This is the 2nd time we've come here to eat with the service being awful. There were customers that came in after us were served and had their food before our order was taken. Our waitress took the order, but it was a different waitress that brought our drinks and food. This will be the last time we come to this restaurant for a long while. I would rather go to a different restaurant and spend the money for great service
