We’d given up on restaurants in Vernal. The food tastes like they all order from the same supplier. We’ve found almost everything we’ve tried in most restaurants is nowhere near as good as we can cook at home. We happen to finish meetings early this morning while in Vernal and saw Abbey’s Café. Without gushing over our experience, our meals tasted like food used to taste 20 years ago, delicious and real. The atmosphere was rustic and all American. The staff were like family before we left. The prices were easy in our wallet. We got a chance to meet the owners. Their own story of starting Abbeys is straight from a Hallmark movie. Great people, great meals, great experience.

Perfect hideaway restaurant in the heart of downtown Vernal, friendly staff and great food. They have an option on the menu called Abby's Choice where the cook decides a choice off the menu for you and it did not disappoint.

On many occasions, I/We have had a great consistent breakfast. This place is awesome! The patty sausage is made in house and is delicious. They also make strawberry syrup and fresh salsa. Thank you, Abby and your staff!

I would 100% recommend Abby's cafe for breakfast. Service was amazingly friendly (Dave was our waiter and was lovely) and the atmosphere was great- it's clearly a popular spot for the locals. The food was fantastic, with a great selection of breakfast food and large tasty portions. The chicken fried steak with gravy was particularly good, as was the french toast. We would definitely come back to Abby's diner if we were in the area again.
*Update* They moved to downtown area. I have been in a few times since and food was great and not cold. I am updating stars.

STUNNING! This is the absolute best American breakfast I have had in years. And I am not fooling. They bake their biscuits in house! They make their own strawberry jam as well! They know how to fry an egg! They hash browns were perfect! fully cooked with a golden crisp! Seriously, I felt moved by this breakfast. It made me remember how much I loved my grandma’s home cooking. This is the place to go for a awesome meal. And the prices are very reasonable.

Abby's Cafe was a dining experience that is hard to beat. They are currently open 6:00 AM until 2:00 PM for both breakfast and lunch. My breakfast delivered in a timely manner and was cooked as requested (the sausage patty was extra-large!). Great meal. I have included hi-resolution pictures of the current menu that you can zoom in to check out their items for breakfast and lunch. The dining room is warm, clean and inviting. Well lit throughout and with large windows allow for abundant natural light. The decor is pleasant and well thought out and adds an upscale feel overall. The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. The odds are high that you will have a good experience here. Well done to the staff and ownership of Abby's Cafe, much appreciated. KUDOS!!! ?
