BARF!! If it’s possible to give zero stars I would have. The young lady that took my order was super nice, the old lady that delivered my food was not! As far as the food goes, I have never had BBQ this awful! The brisket came chopped up, cold and literally in a tray of grease (see photos). It was so bad I could only eat two bites before I threw it away. The ribs were so over cooked that it was like eating jerky. The beans were ok. I ordered home cut fries and the old lady first told me that she forgot to cook them. A couple minutes later she brings me an order of cold waffle fries (not home cut). I told her I ordered home cut. Here unapologetic answer was, “that’s what was on my order”. I said, that’s not what I ordered…”that’s what was on my ticket. To her Ornery credit, she did finally ask me if I wanted the other fries. At that point I was so disgusted, I just got up and walked out. It was that bad. $19 down the drain. DO NOT GO TO THIS AWFUL PLACE.

We had lunch here. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich and coleslaw and I had the cheeseburger. Both were very tasty. They made a pancake for our toddler too. Service was great. I would eat here again and again.

Had an awesome first experience here. the staff was absolutely amazing and I had a very genuine conversation with a lady who made the food (sorry for not remembering her name). We will definitely be back. Tremendous food, fair prices, and excellent ambience.

My family and I just moved to Vernal, and we decided to try out The Sloppy Pig today for lunch since it's just down the road from our house. So happy we tried it out! We have 6 people in our family, and not only did everyone find something to enjoy, but we all agreed that it was almost impossible not to just inhale our food. It was AMAZING!! We're forever customers now. We were very impressed with the prices, amount of food, and the wonderful customer service.

Food was middling but by far the worst customer service I’ve come across. Cold fries and chicken jerky posing as a tender. Brought it to their attention, in a to go order, no less and they refused to do anything. Would have been happy to just have something warm to eat. So take it or leave it, Vernal. Be smart and leave it. It’s beyond me how they have 2 locations.

The restaurant was understaffed and the employees were working impressively hard to make up the difference. All that being said, the building is run down and needs to be updated. Our table was wobbly and we were worried the whole time we might spill our drinks. The macaroni and cheese was not good at all. It was watery and greasy. Other menu items were okay. If you are looking for true BBQ this is not it.

If you are not a local, know that you'll be treated poorly.We waited over an hour from the time we ordered until we received our food.When we did, it was cold...except for the brisket which had been reheated until crispy on a skillet like carnitas. That alone is BBQ blasphemy!Mac and Cheese that everyone raved about was basically noodles in a greasy oil with no cheese. "Frycho" consisted of burnt waffle fries that somehow came out cold also with brisket carnitas on top. I'll save you the $50 insult to BBQ everywhere and encourage you to skip it...you'd be better off down the street at the Arby's or KFC.

Tried the tachos and fell in love (don't tell my cardiologist). Staff was friendly and attentive. They even put together a special to go bag so I can enjoy their house bbq sause again at home.

Stopped here while stay in Vernal for some hiking. Amazing BBQ! We had the pulled pork sandwich, ribs and mac & cheese. The sandwich bread could have been a bit more artisan but that BBQ! Try must go here if in town.

I have past this establishment more then several time.. at times having my window down and having the smell of BBQ amoung other things come my way to the the point of mouth watering.I decided to come in today and try the -" sloppy pig sandwich". To my amazement.. I should have requested more napkins to the amazing sandwich fild with bacon and pulled pork amoung with other flavorful ingredients.The customer service is outstanding and a place that I will come again and recommend to those who want alot of napkins around them.. good comfort good with a grate family invierment.
