Happy Dragon Chinese Express

Our recent visits have been a bit hit-and-miss, and unfortunately this last one felt like a pretty big miss. It seemed like there may have been some equipment challenges, but I’m not certain.

On the positive side, we did receive fresh sweet and sour chicken and orange chicken, and those were appreciated. However, several other items were concerning. There were no noodles available, no hot and sour soup, and the egg drop soup was very watery, lacked flavor, and appeared to have peas in it—which I’ve never seen in egg drop soup before.

We were able to get fresh cheese rangoons, but they had very little to non-existent filling. Portion size, which is usually great, leaned toward the skimpy side tonight. The biggest concern, though, was that the honey chicken and honey shrimp were placed in the same serving dish and served with the same spoon. That can be a serious issue for anyone with food allergies.

I usually enjoy their food, and I understand that some nights can be challenging, but a few of these problems seemed avoidable. I’m hopeful things will improve because this location has been a favorite in the past.

Every time I go there is nothing available. The workers always say it will be over a half hour until any food will be made. I went after they had been open 2 hours and every tray was empty. The man working said we could order but it would be an hour or 2 before we could get any food. Express in the name is a joke.

The 3 entrees + 1 side combo is about 2 dollars cheaper than Panda Express. The texture of the noodles here was better than Panda Express'. The hot n sour soup here was ok; the flavor profile wasn't the best recipe ever, but the texture was good. Panda Express hasn't had hot n sour soup in years. The flavor profile on the entrees was sufficient. The atmosphere here felt warm and welcoming. The staff were really nice and helpful. I also think the proportions were slightly better than panda express' as well. Not a bad place.

If I could give them a Zero I would! They messed up half my orders. Didn’t have most of the chicken we ordered. The low main tasted like dirty dish water! Do not recommend Ever going here! Panda Express would have been better than this place.

Walked in and the lady that took my order was sitting at the table. Asked if I had a DoorDash order, I replied with no. She finally got up after sitting there for another 2-4 min waited 15 min after she had taken my order. Super unprofessional and very lazy work ethic Someone else had walked in behind me and she asked them if they had the door dash order, they responded with no and said they had an online order. The order wasn’t even ready and the person that had the online order waited an additional 20 min for their food that they had ordered ahead of time.

I believe food should be hot not luke warm. I will come back again some day and I hope for better results for the food temp then I will give another review. But for now mid

We love Happy Dragon Chinese! The portions are huge and the price is great. They have extremely friendly staff, quick service and plenty of order options. Everything we've had has been delicious and we look forward to picking up food when we are in the area.

Staff was super friendly and eager to please. Let me sample almost everything on the menu with a smile the whole time. Not a bad price, food is average but worth the try

They need to close this place down i ordered on uber eats and i found a hair in my food!! reading some reviews, multiple people that had gone in person noticed they don't were hair nets and have poor hygene practices and i am not surprised sadly i found the hair after eating half my food i am feeling sick now

I wish I could rate it higher, because the staff is nice and they're very generous with sampling, but the food is ultimately just not great. It's basically a worse Panda Express. I'd take their lo mein over Panda's chow mein, but that's about it.

I've been here 3-4 times in hopes that I'd find an entree that's exceptional, but there just isn't one. It's all fine but not great.
