Adding another review, went again on Sunday morning around 830AM, sat outside and it was absolutely lovely. We were the only ones out there. Our waitress TyAnna was amazing, very sweet and attentive. The food was great, I had the ham steak, over easy eggs and hashbrowns with the scone. Also the coffee was good! My husband also gets the chicken fried steak and always enjoys it. Great food. Will definitely go again!

This review below is from another time we went.

The waitresses were very nice and the food was really good. I had the American breakfast, and instead of the toast I got the scone. Very nummy. I also enjoy their outdoor eating area.
And their coffee and cappuccino are very good.

With all of the great restaurants that serve breakfast in St. George/Washington, don’t bother coming here. They put a ton mushrooms in an omelette that did not have mushrooms listed as an ingredient. The hashbrowns and toast were served absolutely cold. The coffee tastes like water.

Waiter seemed nice but was not accurate with order and seemed to be needy for our attention. He seemed nice but not very bright and kept interrupting our conversation. Also, plate of food (brunch) looked boring.. not any presentation and not that tasty…for the money. Quality of food and service has dropped drastically. Won’t be going there anymore.

I don’t see how anyone would give this place 5 stars food was edible but seriously lacking a good cook or seasoning . Was some effort making the food but zero flavor not even salt locals must know good food? maybe just my experience but serving old home style potatoes , flavorless gravy, was disappointing seeing all meat in the gravy then tasting it ? best thing was the service only if the kitchen put that kind off effort!

Great little Cafe, decent food and homey feel. I chose the fish and chips, and they were the nice smooth beer batter textured breading. Lemon and malt vinegar to top them off.

Very enjoyable dining location. You could hear conversations. Good was honestly cooking. Salted just right. Portions good. The only thing is to ask for 2 pieces of toast otherwise will be served 1 piece. Good recommend.

St Helen’s has turned out to be one of my favorite breakfast spots. Food is delicious, service is quick and friendly and the atmosphere is perfect to bring the entire family or with a date. Will definitely be going back.

Best place to eat. Not the best place to work. The owner sits around all day at the restaurant micro-managing everyone. She hired me as a bartender and then fired me because the restaurant had a bad day not all on me. I wish them the best but feel extremely disrespected
