The food is really good. I sat at the counter and ordered the Wendover Breakfast. Delicious and homemade tortillas came with it.
The staff greeted several customers by name.
Great place.

Nice little place. Almost like a old time diner. All the good things with those. Friendly and good food.

The chile relleno was so delicious . Service was excellent. This is a great little restaurant with a laid-back vibe...glad we found it.

I spotted this place across the street from my hotel saw the parking lot was full.. went ahead and called and ordered a carne asada burritos with rice and beans wife had a Philly I've lived in az had tons of Mexican food you can usually tell by the beans if they care and omg absolutely amazing worth every penny beans on point with that charro taste the rice neat and fluffy and perfectly flavored and my burrito was better than filiburtos rolbertos Armandos and most Mexican places I've attended..took a chance rolled the dice and hit the jackpot definitely recommend

Breakfast was excellent and service was spot on. Wish there were more restaurants like this around. Big portions for what they are charging. I reccomend the steak and eggs. Definitely worth trying out.

This is a Mexican American restaurant, didn’t order any Mexican dishes, there American dishes are pretty bad. Pork chop was super thin, pasta sauce was water down.

I've been working out here now for a couple of weeks. Been trying to find any place that's good to eat at a decent price which is nearly impossible. Stay away from the casinos. Bad food. Expensive prices found this place service was excellent. Food was great I'll be out here working for a few more weeks. This is definitely going to be my go-to

"Delicious country fried steak breakfast! Crispy hash browns, perfectly cooked steak, and sunny-side-up eggs. It even came with a refreshing watermelon wedge! The sourdough toast could be crisper, but that's a minor quibble. Bonus: a cup of coffee is only just over $2 with never-ending refills - no meal required! Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. Can't wait to become a regular after my move!"

The main course of each entree was very small. However what was there was very good. We ordered the Pork Chops, the Fish and Chips, and the Pork Burrito. The Pork Chops were sliced about 3/8" of an inch thick, and there were only two on the plate. The fish and chips were all batter and very little fish. The Pork Burrito was mostly green sauce with a smattering of pork chunks and a very thick tortilla. When it came out I thought my wife ordered a smothered quesadilla. I'm glad I didn't order the burrito, although she really liked it. I would strongly advise against the fish and chips. The Pork Chops were tasty , but not very filling. Since dining outside of casinos in Wendover is mostly non-existent, we might be forced to go back. If Mexican is your choice go to the Salt Flats Cafe.
