Grew up with Mexican food and had it all over the country; this is up at the top of the list. A hidden gem. Flour tortilla was cooked perfectly (imo). The catcus and pork were fresh and hit me with that home cooked feeling.

The gorditas are so authentic I forgot where I was the entire meal. There is nothing like taking a bite of the bistec con papas Gordita once you’ve built up an appetite. It’s comforting all the down. We drive from salt lake to get our fix and it’s worth it every.single.time. ??we’d consider moving to wendover for this.
Vegetarian options: Not many Mexican restaurants mess with nopal but she’s got it on lock. The rajas are super yummy too.

I've had Mexican food from all over the country This is hands down some of the best ever. When my kids fly in to SLC we always make a trip to Loncheria's. It's a little tricky finding it the first time but once you find it you'll never forget.
This place is a hidden gem. The owners are wonderful. They can make their gorditas Vegan with beans and chili with guac on the side. They're delicious. My aunt got tacos and loved them. I recommend trying this place if you're in Wendover. Cash only.

Stopped by to grab something small on our way through town. Ordered 7 gorditas con frijoles. The bread is handmade dough cooked right then and filled. Super delish and the green sauce is spicy, addicting & AMAZING! The wait is a little bit, but very worth it!! Highly recommend!!!

The best sopes I’ve ever had! The pricing was very reasonable and the owners were so friendly. Just a note, it’s cash only, but the Shell station nearby has an ATM. We will definitely be stopping here every time we pass through Wendover.
