There is a reason this location is 3 star and nearly 600 reviews. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!!!!! Go to another Cafe Rio. I love cafe Rio but not here.
Pretty much everything was pretty gross with this order. I honestly ate cafe rio for lunch in Midvale earlier today, I love cafe rio, but this order (and multiple past orders at the woods cross location) is worth throwing away. We picked up our order within 10 minutes of being ready.
1. Drinks - both drinks were very warm. We emptied them after finding out and got a refill or horchata, but it was still very warm, and had no cinnamon, tasted like it was going bad/rancid. Same with the mangolada.
Filled the cup with ice and got more, but after getting home, it was still disgusting, all the ice had already melted so we threw it away.
2. Chicken salad - I’m 100% convinced I got a chicken salad that was made during lunchtime that day and was left out all day.
A. ordered chips on the side, chips were on the side and on the salad. The chips on the salad
B. The chips on the salad were damp and stale as if they had been on there for hours.
C. The amount of food in the salad was far less than normal.
D. Chicken was cold and tasted odd.
E. Dressing was warm and tasted a little rancid. It was very liquidy compared to normal dressing.
F. The beans tasted odd and were cold in the center of each bean.
G. Guacamole also tasted bad
I threw away the chicken salad out of fear of food poisoning.
I havnt been to this cafe Rio in a couple years because of previous bad experiences.
I order from the Midvale restaurant often and have always had great experiences there.
Talk about a disappointment.
Think about always cooking yourself and the one time you decide to get some takeout.
All you want is extra meat and all the sides actually on the side so it doesn't make your food soggy.
Extra meat definitely means more than 10 pieces of meat I would think especially when you got double extra meat.
10 pieces Ain't Enough...
I'm so disappointed.
Only at the Cafe Rio in Woods Cross though.
You guys are ridiculous I will never come there again.
I should have just went to Del Taco.......

My experience with this place is that it was not prepared to deal with English speaking Americans. Went through drive thru to order a pork tostada and pork nachos. The attendant did not speak English, so a second person came on the intercom. There were still problems with them understanding what the order was. My tostada had one piece of pork and a TON of lettuce!! My tortilla was so small at the bottom of the dish I could barely see it!! My tostada was very spicy, which I did not want. The pork nachos had more beans than meat, and it was sweet. I am not happy with this place at all. My first time to Utah and I must say my experience doesn’t even deserve a one star. I will never be back, and neither will my friends or family. You need to do better when it comes to customer service in America. We will take our money elsewhere, I can promise you that.
Asked for cilantro and extra lettuce on my burrito. Got home to this sad excuse—about five scraggly pieces of lettuce, some limp cilantro tossed on top like a garnish, and barely five tiny bites of steak inside. For over $12, this is ridiculous. If I wanted wet tortilla with garnish, I could’ve stayed home. Picture says it all.
Once again got a bomb salad it was made almost perfect just a little to much lettuce but other than that it was perfect. Carmen was my cashier she was respectful. Thanx again for the delicious food definitely will be back
Ordered food no one was in line. They asked me to go wait in a space facing the sun. Waited 20 minutes while 3 other cars came around and were served. Drive through is slower than walking in. Wildly bad service.
People take a long time just to prepared a couple salads ,this took around 45 minutes 👎👎
Worst cafe Rio. No human interaction. Food is terrible and inconsistent unlike other locations. They’re always behind, even though it says your order is ready it’s not even started. Do not recommend if you want a Cafe Rio meal. drive 1.5 miles down to Bountiful on 500 S for a real Cafe Rio meal.

Love Cafe Rio burritos enchilada style. This location makes it very hard to pay with cash. Not impressed.

Go to an original Cafe Rio where your food is made to order on the spot. The kiosk only option at this Cafe Rio made for a bad experience. Additionally, it took a long time to get our food and the quality was lacking with dried out rice and chicken. I will not be going to this Cafe Rio again. I will go to others as they have great food.

I ordered a burrito at the drive through tonight and when I got home, I noticed the salad was only a small spoonful (much less than other locations). And the size of the burrito was so small and there was little bit of sweet pork. Not sure if this is the company’s decision to make smaller portion or just this particular location. Price keeps going up and the portion keeps going down. I will go to the other location in Bountiful instead next time.

Can yall please explain why I had to wait in the curbside pickup line for 8 minutes for my food after ordering in the drive thru when I was the ONLY person there?? No one else in the drive thru or the restaurant. Other cafe rios have it ready almost instantly. I hate coming here yall NEED to make some changes.

Carne Asada tasted like beef with bbq sauce dumped on it. Taco Bell rates higher!
This place was so slow. I waited for 35 minutes for them to make my meal. This is the worst Cafe Rio I've been too. It defeats the purpose of fast food.

This place is very unorganized, you order food and are sent to the front, they don’t mark any vehicles or take names and employees run in and out of the door asking every car what they ordered and take food in and out. We ordered only two items that in a normal drive thru come out in a few minutes, we were there a half hour.
