I am tired of negative and bad reviews, especially for companies that Do Not Deserve it. I understand they have bad days, but you need to understand that you are not the only customer they have, and they are doing their best with inflation and being a family owned business. Plus, I’d rather Pay GOOD MONEY for a good burger, than a piece of shit burger from McDonald’s.
I ordered a deluxe cheeseburger, no mayo, added bacon, with a side of onion rings. Oh! Also a rainbow (highly recommended for every purchase).
I will have to say the rainbows have been an extreme addiction. That I have here. So I ate that on my walk home by the time I got home my food was still warm. I would like to say 45-60 minutes after I gotten my food. The hamburger was still good. Still had the right amount of mustard and ketchup, I am one that has never been a fan of hamburgers ever since I was five years old, and this is the only place that I ate every single bite of the hamburger I got. It was bursting with flavor and my inner fat kid came out. ?
The onion rings I could tell were made out of real onions and handmade batter. They were crunchy and the fry sauce complemented them very nicely. As a self proclaimed connoisseur of fry sauce, I would say they have the best fry sauce that I have ever had, and I’ve lived here in Utah, the state of fry sauce my whole life.
The only thing I would have to say negatively about this experience, which isn’t even a negative thing because in the Davis county tap-water is disgusting no matter where you get it in this county, (some places worse than others) but that shouldn’t determine The service you get or quality of your food.

Save yourself the money and go to the Layton location. The food is the same and is literally half the cost. Food is great but I'm not sure why they charge twice as much. Lots of flies in the restaurant too.

$45 for four burgers, 2 small fries, a drink and 2 plushies. Reading the reviews, it looks like this restaurant was once a highlight of Davis county, but it's now a shell of it's former self. The burgers had no seasoning and were made with lower quality beef. The patties are also so thin that they come off the grill bone dry. The cheese had nothing to offer to the taste either. The sandwich ultimately tasted like bread as the bun was just too big for the small size of the other ingredients.
Our fries were delicious and we'll cooked! They were the highlight of the meal. No seasoning either but my wife (a long time fan of the restaurant and bountiful native) let me know that is normal and was prepared with some salt packets.
We had their famous Rainbows for dessert. My wife and kids liked them, but to me they were simply a snow cone with extra syrup and a spoonful of mediocre soft serve ice cream dropped inside. Over $5 each for the smallest size really caught me off guard when they asked for my credit card.
Overall a disappointing and expensive stop for us tonight. But it seems this place could get back to their former glory with a few simple changes. 1. Season your food. 2. Use larger and higher quality patties and 3. Dial back prices a bit on the rainbows.

Old school spot, amazing shakes/malts, delicious (greasy) burgers and fries. One of my go to lunch spots whenever I can.

This place was highly disappointing. All the food was either overcooked, undercooked, or somehow a combo of both. I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was so overdone that they cooked all the chicken out of it. I was genuinely concerned I was going to break a tooth because it was so crispy. I also ordered a “large” lime rickey that was the same size as a medium elsewhere and was $3.05. It had no flavor and was just not worth it. Don’t waste your time or money. This place felt dirty and the staff was not friendly.

I don’t know what is in the water up in davis county, but y’all are not alright! This place does not deserve these high ratings! $40 for two burgers, fries, onion rings and two drinks. The fries were let’s say in need of a little blue pill. The hamburgers were flavorless and dry, but they tried to cover that up with a cup of mustard. The onion rings were something I don’t know how to even describe… they were so chewy and stale that it almost hurt to eat. Their drinks were lacking any carbonation. Plus they charge $.40 per container for fry sauce. We really wanted to give this local place a try and will never, ever come back!

Don’t waste your time or money coming here. Service staff was not helpful at all and acted inconvenienced that we were even there At 7pm on a Friday. Food quality was even worse. If you like elementary grade cafeteria food this is the spot! Oh and avoid the onion rings and fries, they are disappointing to put it lightly.

Not sure how this place has such a high rating. Onion rings were rock hard. Fries rubbery and chewy. Charge extra for any fry sauce and overall not worth the time or money.

$9 and a 30 minute wait for this cheeseburger and fries. I use to come here 20 years ago and sadly this little Bountiful staple has gone downhill.

I wish I could say the food was delicious but sadly, it’s not. I wouldn’t recommend the place. Our total came to $28.63 for a cowboy hamburger, a fried chicken sandwich, an order onion rings and a small peach slush rainbow. Our onion rings were so stale and hard enough that I couldn’t bite into it or chew it. For the price we paid for our meals we regret not going somewhere else.
