This place is so cool! The amount of meat you get on one sandwich is amazing! The bread is all made by hand and is the softest bread I've ever had! The people there are so wonderful! We love it here!

Great friendly place to stop in for breakfast or lunch with reasonable prices in this economy ?. Very good biscuits and gravy. And love the lunch wraps and sandwiches as well. Nice to have this store in Amelia.

I absolutely love this place. The ladies that work their do an excellent job. So nice to everyone like you have been there friend for years. Food is great. I go in there hungry and diffenly going to get more than I should. Never got anything that I didn't like down to the wonderful homemade bread. Delicious....if anyone hasn't been needs to go check it out. Would not be you last trip. ⚘️❤️

I am writing this review hoping my feedback gets back to those that can make changes. I live in SC but have a home in the Midlothian area. Country Food and Furniture used to be only a few miles away in Powhatan county. We tried their sandwiches, took home deli meat and cheeses, and many of the baked goods available. We have had many pounds of their chicken salad, pimento cheese, potato salad and macaroni salad. We loved them all top notch. Since they moved to Amelia county we have gone less often maybe 5 or 6 times. All of these times except for the last, the food has been just as good. We always get the double meat sandwiches. I get country ham and smoked turkey and this time my sandwich had very little country ham and just was not up to par.We also purchased the following:A cup of chili - good but mostly brotha pound of white american: no tastePound of chicken salad: GoodPound of pimento cheese: Terrible almost no cheese, They really screwed this up.Fresh glazed donuts: GreatStrawberry cake: GoodPound cake: GoodBanana nut bread: DecentIced brownies: GoodWe will be back but with a skeptical eye this time. No more 100 dollar purchases for sure. My wife will be upset when she tries that pimento cheese.
