Very disappointed. The garlic festival was supposed to run til 5 pm and at 4:30pm no one would give a tasting. That’s wrong. Don’t say you’re open about
til 5pm. I stood in line for 1 hour for food and the falafel took the whole time while the other was getting g cold!! None was good for $70. Won’t be back!!
I'll start by saying that I am not a wine connoisseur. We had a small tasting and I must say I liked every wine that we sampled! The lady, I'm sorry I forgot her name, serving was so friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was great and we really enjoyed it, nice and quiet outside, just a peaceful setting. Great place to visit!!!
We have been to wineries all over the world. We can honestly say that we liked almost every wine that we tasted. The young lady, Kylie, who served us could not have been nicer. This is a small vineyard with a narrow one lane driveway. We have a B-class camper van and had no problem navigating through it. We are looking forward to returning for the October Garlic Festival.
The Sweet Sophia is one of my top 5 wines I've tasted. There wasn't a wine out of the 16 I wouldn't drink again. Kylie was amazing and made the experience that much better. She explained the wines perfectly and gave us a tour. I ❤️ that it's on the small side. This place is definitely a vibe! I'll be back!
Day trip to Virginia and I decided to visit some Vineyards. I stopped here and was greeted by Melody! She was awesome!! She's very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We had a nice chat about the wines. I only tried a few wines as I was driving and going to a couple other vineyards.I really enjoyed the pinot grigio. Very crisp and refreshing! The wine that really was absolutely amazing and is definitely a conversation piece was.....Sweet Sofia! So smooth, the aroma and all of the flavors. I would have this wine around Thanksgiving and Christmas, by a firepit in the Fall or on cold or rainy nights wrapped up in a blanket. I definitely would not share my bottle with anyone! They need to get their own. That is how amazing it is!
I was there the day entitled (one star review) Shania came into Rebec. I am actually friends of the winery and those who create the tasting experience. We became friends when my wife brought me to the Vineyard and we enjoyed small batch wines, the ambiance and beauty of the tasting room. We also enjoyed the friendly staff and the intimate experience the tasting room provides. I now pour at the wine festivals for Rebec and enjoy the wonderful customers. I and my family love the Rebec Vineyards and the Largest Garlic festival in Virginia. For those curious, no garlic wines, 5 to 7 garlic farmers with around 95 to 100 other fair vendors, 4 music venues over 2 days in October. Just so happens the festival takes place during garlic picking and planting season! Great Wine, Garlic, Food, music and of course the wonderfully charming people who love festivals!
The wine selection here is more of a dry selection. I'm giving it a two star rating because when my sister and I got there, I paid for a tasting and the owner said we would get a souvenir glass, but when we got ready to leave, he wanted to charge me $3 for a glass that said "2022" on it AND he had already said they were souvenir glasses...I just thought it was very bad business. This vineyard is very tiny, and when we walked in, it was oddly quiet, and the two people that were sitting at a table were I believe the owners' family. I do not recommend using the restroom here because anyone who is there will hear you! It was just not my kind of atmosphere.
I like really sweet wine. They did not have a wine that I liked, but my husband liked a few. However, they did have a mead that I really liked. The lady who helped us was so nice. We enjoyed our time there and learning about what they offer.
The Rebec Garlic and Wine Festival is an AMAZING ANNUAL EVENT to make special memories with friends and family!Always the 2nd weekend in October, see you soon! : )
Wonderful experience! The Wine & Garlic Festival never disappoints!

Lovely first visit today. We will be back.
Amazing, greatest deal. Wonderful time and wine. Favorite wine experience.
Great person there, enjoyed. If I say the Gertzwiemer was my favorite (I know that's spelled wrong but I won't look it up right now). Thanks for good afternoon.
Did a wine tasting here on a Monday, it was so calm, delightful, and wonderful. Eric took great care of us and gave us a perfect picture of the wine selections. Box of snacks was delicious. We left with four bottles, jam, and a wine cork!
We absolutely love everything about Rebec, but if you are fortunate enough to find yourself in the area for the annual Wine & Garlic festival, do attend! There's lovely music, awesome vendors of all kinds, and do we even need to mention the best wine & garlic around! If you can't, be sure to stop in for a tasting & try Sweet Sofia, one of the most unique flavors I've ever come across. The folks here are absolutely delightful to talk with, you feel like they've been your neighbors forever, and the wine is so good you wish you didn't have to leave.
