The Amherst Corner Restaurant

Went in for lunch, which was a little busy . We had vegetable beef soup , chili beans, grilled cheese, mac & cheese and a cheese burger. Food was delicious and came out really quick. Bella was our server, she was extremely friendly and attentive!!!!

First time trying, the food was delicious and quick. The staff were super friendly and helpful. 10/10 would definitely recommend. Hot fresh food and cold hand scooped ice cream.

We stopped by for a quick lunch. Staff are very nice and accommodating. I forgot to take a photo of our food since we are all hungry BUT food was GREAT.I love their Roro's sauce( a sauce with a slight kick) ☺️ Lastly, we love the ice cream😍

Delicious family friendly restaurant with lots of options. The staff is very good at checking for allergies and ensuring a safe environment. They even have Alfa-gal friendly options! The service is very quick and friendly.

My Husband and I just stopped at this little Amherst Corner restaurant on our way to Richmond. The food was delicious!! The service was outstanding!!! The atmosphere felt like we had known them all of our life. Very friendly and kind! EVERYONE who was working were a delight! Thank you for an at home atmosphere!!

Awesome! The burgers are tender and juicy, the country fried steak is great. The staff is very pleasant and attentive. Kim took care of us today. She is the epitome of cheerful customer service.

I ordered a cup of beef barley soup, a chicken salad sandwich with lettuce on whole wheat, and a brownie. All were fabulous. The service was perfect. Surpise find on a road trip. Would recommend!

Such a great find! Good Eats! I had a hard time making up my mind with so many tempting menu options. Pricing was affordable as well. I was traveling and doing take out (which was served up within 5 minutes!) so I went with the Jumbo Beef Hotdog and a Rootbeer Float. Yum! The staff was so friendly!!! Thank you for a wonderful experience. I highly recommend 👌

Just had a great rest stop on our way home at the Amherst Corner. We had the Special Chicken and Dumplings and the Amherst Cowboy Burger with a side of Beans, both were OUTSTANDING. The waitress was super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the Amherst Corner restaurant.

We love the Amherst Corner Restaurant! It is a great middle ground to meet my mom when our daughter stays at her house and we all find the food to be very yummy. The icecream is a pluse for our daughter aswell. Great service, great comfort food.

Great diner food. We had a great double cheeseburger and chicken tenders, but other good options. Not sure, but seemed to be a very nice Amish family owning the restaurant. Fyi, take Hwy 151 &/or Hwy 56 for short drive to Blue Ridge Parkway .. curvy, but fun and beautiful.
