Decided to drop in and I'm very glad I did! Staff were INCREDIBLY kind and welcoming! The pastries were the best I've had in years! The homemade care really shines through and I was blown away with how tasty they were! Got an Italian sandwich and expected something like you'd get at subway but no, it was sooo tasty! The bread was perfect and every piece of the sandwich contributed something special.
Quality deserves respect! Its places like this that truly elevate our community and bring joy to so many! I would definitely give it a try! The name fits the place perfectly

We have driven a half an hour 2 days this week to go and try your supposedly wonderful Bakery items but both times you were closed. Online it says that you're supposedly open from 9:00 to 5:00 everyday.
Such a cozy bakery that offers more than just baked goods! They have sandwiches and a breakfast buffet which was so cute. And Gilbert was very hospitable and kind. He gave me my muffin on the house, and added two extra baked goods. He wouldn’t let me pay even when I insisted. A great place you should absolutely try if you’re in Amherst :)

Great food. Very inconsistent hours. Whenever we go to pickup doughnuts, they are never open.

Warm, friendly service, and great food. Can't get much better than that!
I hate to let the secret out, but they have the BEST cream puffs in the world. Mr. Gilbert is a Christian man who lives his faith and blesses us all with the most delicious pastries. God bless you , sir!
Just stopped there on a Friday during a break from work while in the area. The food is phenomenal, the bread is homemade. I got a sandwich and the bread is really soft and has a sweet taste to it, and the donuts are better than overpriced name brand ones like Krispy Kreme. They melt in your mouth practically. They start baking the sweets and bread around 3-4a.m. every day. The gentleman behind the counter was very kind and friendly to us. He joked around with us and told us some of the background of the shop. It has a very mom and pop shop vibe to it.
When I am in the area again I will definitely be stopping in again!
I stopped in to grab a donut, and accidentally found the best bakery around! As a Lynchburg native this is a must stop on any trip or just passing by!

At Sweet Briar College for an archery tournament and was looking for food found this little slice of heaven and let me tell you the food does not disappoint. The rolls are just like my grandmothers and those my friend are hard to find! Every thing was delicious the country ham and egg sandwich and the breakfast plate were killer! The cookies are soft and the pastries are delectable definitely give this place a try! Awesome food with even better people around it 10-10!

The sausage egg & cheese on a biscuit is amazing! The biscuits are so soft & fluffy and the eggs are fresh! The glazed donuts are like clouds and glazed to perfection! The owner is such a kind gentleman.
They always say they are open, but never actually open
The Italian sub and lemon Danish was fantastic.
