I have been here twice so far, the food is amazing but sadly I can’t say the same about the service. It was extremely disappointing to be the only people of color in there and visibly notice how the white patrons had the waiters check in on them multiple times, while my husband and I had to ask for someone to come by. I don’t want to accuse anyone of anything but the restaurant got less busy while we sat there and still, our original waitress was checking on other groups and even sat down with a group while we hadn’t even ordered yet. The demographic is affluent older whites folks and if you don’t fit that, this may not be the place for you.

Ash + Olive has quickly become my only reason to come to Ashland. From the moment you walk in, the warm, inviting atmosphere makes you feel like family. The service is consistently excellent—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.
The food is where Ash + Olive really shines. We had their pizza, and it was outstanding. The toppings were incredibly creative, but more importantly, the flavors blended together perfectly. Every bite felt unique yet balanced, showing real thought and craft behind their menu. The meatballs were another highlight—tender, flavorful, and clearly made with care.
If you’re looking for a place in Ashland that delivers great food, exceptional service, and a cozy, family-like vibe, Ash + Olive is absolutely worth the visit. Highly recommended!

Fabulous lunch spot! We tried the panuozzo sandwiches, which turned out to made with the most fantastic pizza crust. Our server Brian was friendly, helpful, and took great care of us. Absolutely loved the interior - warm and welcoming, with tons of original art for sale on the walls. Prices were reasonable, food was great, and the service was excellent!

Anotjer trip to kitchen to get a parmesan cheese for pizza. 3. We had to stop the other server for Togo box and the check. The food was good but service was meh cuz we didn't really get it.
