This DQ closed its doors a year or two ago.

Oreo Blizzard was just a cup of vanilla ice cream with oreo pieces on top. The person at the drive thru got my order wrong, was not pleasant and gave me a plain piece of paper after I had to ask for me receipt. I will not be returning to this location.

Always a let down. Never open when they say they are. Last time i went , i got a large blizzard and they gave me the tiniest spoon they have?? I went back and the guy said they were out so i had to go to wawa next door to get a normal sized spoon, which is where I should have gone in the first place! Not to mention only the top half of the blizzard was blended, “chocolate extreme” the bottom half was only vanilla.

We stopped in to this location while traveling home from vacation. We were a party of 8 and there was one man working the lunch shift. He was extremely efficient making food, ice cream and slashes for all of us while also running the drive thru window. He always changed his gloves when handling food and money and definitely had a solid system. Seems like he probably works by himself a lot because there was a hiring sign on the door. He was very pleasant and hustled to get our order as fast as he could, and the food and ice cream was good and every order was correct. He even brought us out some cheese dip to try with our fries. I would highly recommend this place and go back if ever in the area again.

I would not even give the Ashland location a one star. They have horrible customer service skills and before pulling off the owner of the location called me a "white cracker" I would have requested a refund but did not want to go in and confront them after being called that type of name. I do now know per Dairy Queen they do not add whipped topping and cherry on top of a hot fudge sundae. Who knew??

the employee, 8-19-22, was rude. Ordered a blizzard and he added the absolute minimum chocolate and peacans. It was not blended and he DID NOT CARE!

Arrived at 8:45 on a Saturday. Lights was all out outside as well as their dining room. When we walked in, we were informed that they were only serving cones and sundaes. Seems they were closing down even though they should have still been open for another 45 minutes. Pure laziness! And judging by the previous comments, absolutely nothing will be done until this place goes out of business.

The food was fine, but the building itself was nasty. Sticky floors, there was goo are hair in the corners and the whole place smelled like and out house.

We were traveling from the Richmond area after participating in a baseball tournament all wknd. The kids wanted DQ, so I searched for one along our route home. This was a little out of the way, but the only other one was not a Grill & Chill. This was the ABSOLUTE WORST DQ we have ever been to. The bathrooms were locked, with nobody in them. I asked for a key & was told that they were Out of Order, which was a lie. Because as soon as we had arrived my oldest child went to use the restroom & was able to get in and use the facilities without an issue. I'm guessing that the door locked behind him as he exited. Before we sat down to eat, the rest of my family needed/wanted to use the restroom. That's when I asked for the key, because the doors were locked and was told that they were out of order. Our Blizzards were made and given to us before our food. Everyone's fries were burnt, the chicken strips were overly breaded (as if to make then look larger). We had to take our food to-go so that we could drive across the shopping center to use the restrooms at Food Lion (which were extremely clean, btw). By the time we actually got to start eating, our food was lukewarm at best & our Blizzards were soupy-thin milkshakes. And the cherry on top...this was the MOST EXPENSIVE DQ we've ever been. I get that they're proximity to an amusement park (King's Dominion is a few miles away on I-95) would allow for them to charge a little more, but the run-down building, supposed "out-of-order" restrooms & illogical order preparation just makes me wonder how they keep customers coming back. At least the staff wasn't blatantly rude, but you could definitely tell that they would've rather been anywhere but there.

I was super disappointed with my visit. The store was dirty, they didn’t accept deals through the app, the bathrooms were locked and they wouldn’t let us use them. Employees seemed like they didn’t know what they were doing so they just answered “No” to all requests. Horrible experience!

Ordered a ice cream cake yesterday to be picked up today at 11. The store still isn't open at 11:30. The cake was supposed to be at the party at 11:30. We get an ice cream cake for Mom every year. We will stay away from Dairy Queen. I want a refund.
