Islamorada Fish Company

We were on our way home to NJ from NC. It was me, my husband, our 2 children and dog. We stopped at Bass Pro Shops to break up our long drive. We noticed the restaurant inside and thought "perfect, we could eat!".

Since we had our dog with us, we had to sit outside (no problem- we prefer that!). The hostess had us walking all around because she couldn't figure out how to get to the outside patio with our dog?.

Once I figured out how to get to the outside patio, our waiter, Spicoli, came over. He was great; friendly, attentive, kind, respectful. ??

Our food was good- I had a salad with chicken, my husband a crab cake sandwich, my daughter chicken & cheese quesadilla and my son the sliders.

Love the place. I went with my family to have some lunch. We were fascinated by the aquarium in side the restaurant and the decorations. Food was amazing, service was great and the atmosphere was pleasant. Max was friendly and helpful. Best place to visit if you’re headed to that area. Don't miss it !

Not greeted by the host..she just asked how many...smh...seated pretty quickly..
Our server was the bartender...ordered margarita flights and they contained absolutely no tequila...had to leave my table and ask to order an appetizer...ordered Calamari which was cooked entirely too long...for my entree, I ordered bacon wrapped shrimp..please don't order it as the bacon was full of fat.
Bathrooms need an upgrade...only good part of my meal were the stringbeans...Service and quality have definitely dwindled since the last time I was here in 2020...I concur with another Reviewer who stated to save your money and go to Applebee's or Captain Ds...Server did offer a 15% discount..would have been a 1 star if discount wasn't offered

One of the best restaurants I have have ever eaten at. I had the surf and turf. It is very good. I have eaten there a lot. I even had one of my birthday parties there. They have some of the best service there. The aquarium is very nice inside there. I always look forward to going to bass pro shops and eating lunch there.

Overpriced to the gills. Food was below average and portions were tiny. Coconut shrimp were tiny. Shrimp dip was a meager portion of yellow gravy with overbaked Parmesan cheese. Not good. Lady at the front said told us we had to wait for a table to get cleaned off which took 15 mins. Save your money and go to

Neat place. Came here for Dinner on July 7th. In Asland for training all week for a new job. Came here and had fish Tacos and a couple of IPA's. The bartender was great and the food was delicious. Great place to come to let alone the HUGE fish aquarium.

Spicolli was our waiter and he was amazing! He was handling a lot of tables and did a great job! Super polite!!
But…. The food wasn’t great to say the least. My mahi was super dry and tasteless. My husband said his fish and chips were the worst he ever had. The fries were ice cold when they got to us. This was NOT our server’s fault and I hope he gets a raise or a better job!

There were four of us. We ordered drinks and our meals at the same time. We waited quite awhile for or food. Drinks came out within a few minutes. Two meals came out, cold. Then the third meal came out about 3 minutes later. Still waiting and about 5 minutes later the fourth meal came out. For an expensive meal the service was very disappointing. By the time we were all served three out of the four meals were cold. There was never an apology or concern for us. Disappointing!

The managers have to work tables sometimes because of the "new normal" staff shortages, but they are nice and the food is surprisingly good for a chain restaurant. Not fancy, but a convenient and restful break from shopping in the store.

We visited for Fathers Day. Food and service were excellent. Highly recommend the Portofino Mahi and the Fish Tacos! Calamari app was also delicious. Parker, our server, was very helpful with recommendations. We will definitely be back.

Loved every moment.. coming back from a vacation I hoped that this on the way restaurant would pair with the store that is so great. It didn't disappoint. The food was great and our server Elizabeth was awesome.

Server was excellent. Price was ridiculous due to the faux “crab” cakes. They were a huge disappointment, especially since they call themselves a fish company.
