We ordered a good amount of food tonight for our crew after hearing great things about this place, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. The buns that came with our family meal didn’t seem fresh, and the pork lacked flavor. The beans tasted like they might’ve come from a can — not terrible, but nothing special. Overall, everything just felt bland and underwhelming. We really wanted to like it, but honestly, we were disappointed. Maybe we’ll give it another shot...
Went for lunch just now. Amazing spot, small town atmosphere with a good smoke flavor to the BBQ, also got the catfish sandwich and that blew our socks off. Met the owner and spoke with her for a good amount of time. She is so sweet. I came here from Kentucky and things really do happen for a reason.
The food was delicious, but the service was a complete downfall. The server failed to listen to anyone at the table and got every order wrong, including leaving out my son's entrée entirely. She then made up for this by double charging us for his side dishes. This was easily the worst experience of our vacation in thw area.
