Monique Crepes were great! They attended my agency's summer event and provided warm delicious Crepes for over 75 people! Working with them was a breeze and they accommodated all of our dietary restrictions.
I ordered the L' Itallienne crepe with ham, and it was really yummy! I was worried the portion size would be small, but it was hefty, enough for me to be full (I'm also pregnant). I would for sure order again.
We hired Monique’s Crepes to be our wedding dessert, and we are so glad that we did! Every interaction we had with Monique leading up to the big day was kind, personal, and helpful. She helped us create a menu that fit our vision for a fall wedding, and the guests were absolutely raving about the seasonal pumpkin crepe. Everyone who interacted with Monique and her staff that day loved them! She truly helped us create a unique dessert for our wedding as neither one of us were big cake people and it allowed people to get whatever they were in the mood for which was such a fun touch to our special day.
Several of our guests brought the crepes back to the dance floor because they couldn’t put them down! Her crew was able to efficiently serve about 100 people throughout the night with no significant wait times. Monique was there every step of the way when figuring out logistics for our big day and was a delight to work with. She truly helped make our wedding day special to us and we will try more flavors whenever we can!
Monique and crew have provided amazing service and delicious crepes for our event the last few years. They are prompt, friendly, and professional! Our guests really look forward to seeing them each year for our annual event.
Monique’s truck was at Ashland Town Hall yesterday. I got the Bonjour crepe with ham. Very delicious! Didn’t know it was so good! Later I got a dessert crepe, and that was also good. Thanks!
I visited the crepe stand at the RVA Big Market recently hoping to try a savory crepe. The menu wasn’t very clear about options and pricing, which led me to ask several questions.
I didn’t initially want the salad that comes with the savory crepe, but I thought the salad still came with the sweet crepe base I ordered. I chose savory toppings and was okay with leaving the salad on (savory base or not) because I didn’t want to complicate my order. Earlier, the owner offered to remove the salad and give me a discount if I chose the savory crepe base, but I preferred the original sweet crepe base, which is how I’ve usually had crepes- savory toppings or not, even when visiting France, and realized I didn’t care about the salad or not.
I told the man at the register that if the salad came with the crepe I had just ordered, I would take it, as I would have done with the other savory base option. He then explained that the salad didn’t come with that crepe base I ordered, and I said that was fine and that my order was complete, but that’s when the woman preparing the crepes visibly rolled her eyes.
I understand everyone can have a tough day, and I was having a difficult morning myself. I was also very indecisive because things weren’t made clear. I just wanted some clarity about the menu. Because of this experience, I chose not to order and left disappointed. I likely would have been a repeat customer because I like supporting local businesses.
Two stars, because the man at the register was kind and very helpful, willing to answer my questions.
I'm the leasing agent for The Berkshire Apartments and we recently had Monique's Crepes participate as the food truck for the VCU Housing fair/Open house event that we hold. It was awesome! All of our residents said nothing but wonderful things and our staff wouldn't stop talking about how good of a choice it was to have them cater the event! We had some parking issues and Monique and her team used excellent problem solving skills and figured it out in a way that worked for the residents and all of the visitors in attendance! The whole team (and the crepes) were nothing but excellent and we would love to have them back for another event!
Food truck crepes very yummy!

Ordered crepes at Monique’s food truck at last nights First Friday—so disappointing. The fillings were very interesting but…..the crepe was like cardboard?!?! tough and dry. Can’t compare with their past—haven’t had them but these were not inexpensive and were barely edible.?

They are INCREDIBLE! Specifically, their S'mores crepes are my all time favorite breakfast food! The crepes themselves are the perfect consistency and are cooked to perfection and they are generous with the toppings and whipped cream! In addition their Nutella Hot Chocolate is the best hot chocolate ever and are the perfect level of thickness and sweetness!
