The owner and his wife painstakingly make sure you have an amazing plate of food that will whisk you back to the island of Jamaica, Mon! King and Queen, keep doing your thing!!!

I had a craving for some j*** chicken and Reckie’s did not disappoint. I can’t remember the last time I gobbled down so thing so quickly!

Superior! Best oxtails, rice n peas and cabbage I ever had since moving to Richmond. Nice portions and everything was cooked to perfection. I’m never buying Jamaican food anywhere else!

I wish I could give 0 stars. I’ve never been so disrespected ever, this poor excuse for a food place is so trifling and nasty. You basically have to close your eyes to order, because if not, take your pick, between nose picking, ear wax plucking, hawk spitting in the wind near food, farting, sneezing, and coughing this spot has it all. I stomached through ordering because I was very hungry, but once I opened my container I seen a big long piece of hair. Told the worker and he said “I plucked the feathers but forgot the hair” then began giggling. I told him that it was too much and wanted my money back, after I aksed for that he became angered beginning the cussing and fussing. Gave me back half my money saying I was lucky to get that. I was so exhausted after waiting 30 minutes and standing on my feet that I didnt even feel like arguing. To keep it short, I would not recommend anyone eat here, its a dreadful place. I’ve had some good jamaican food, whethers its Jamaica house, queens, carenas etc. but this place is awful. Stay away or pay the price.

Food was absolutely Horrible and food smelled like rotten canned tuna, left in sweltering heat for a month!, I also saw the cook killing a HUGE cockroach , and letting off a very very loud belch when going back to ask for refund!. I told the owner I got terribly sick because of a food bug I caught from this place, he burst out laughing and told us to get away and that the money was long gone! If you have any self respect and any dignity you wont like it here, because as a christian believer it is my duty to look after my fellow brother and sister. The owner is a foul mouth hoodlum and he cussed my 85 year old aunt out and made her ball in tears. The owner will claim he doesn't know us but he is only running from the truth, I am warning everyone out there, DON'T EAT HERE!
