Sea's Bounty Seafood & Chicken

I've driven by this restaurant multiple times but didn't pay much attention to it until I looked at the reviews, which were very good. However, I was disappointed overall and will not return. I'm going to give my positives and negatives for this place. The food looked fried well and fresh, but that's where it ended for me. I wanted to order the four item Sea's Bounty Mix Platter, but strangely, they wouldn't let me order double of any item and suggested getting an a la carte of an extra item. The 3 item platter is $25 and the 4 item is $30. I was not going to spend another $11 to do that. I opted for the 3 item platter. The fries tasted like they were fried in the same old grease as the chicken and fish. The chicken wings were tiny and bland. The catfish looked really good, but along with the shrimp, there was no seasoning/flavor. It was simply fried food! The lady behind the counter asked if I wanted any of the lemon pepper seasoning which she said was very good. I didn't want on top of everything, so I asked for some in a side container and she said they didn't have one. Maybe it's me, but I thought was strange. I also asked for cocktail sauce and they didn't have that either. What kind of fast food seafood restaurant doesn't have cocktail sauce? Like one of the other reviewers, I would just go back to Captain D's for the value and flavor.

Was originally gonna take it to go, but the interior was well furnished and clean so I decided to dine in. Phenomenal experience. Chef was very friendly and generous. Ordered the Green Mussle Combo. The Mussles were some of the best I've ever had. The boiled egg, potato, and corn were delicious. Sausage was only a step up from a hot dog but definitely not bad. Overall the portions and quality are very well priced. Well worth a stop! I'll be back

I’m new to the area, my girlfriend and I just moved to Virginia from Colorado. We didn’t have a lot of great sea food options in Colorado, and we are blown away by how delicious Sea’s Bounty is! I will be returning here often!

This is my new spot to go .... the owners are super nice and made us feel at home . The food was amazing . Cat fish nuggets and tenders was so damn good. Ready to go again

We’ve visited Season Bounty several times, and each experience has been consistently enjoyable. The seafood and wings are always well-prepared and flavorful, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The owner is very friendly and engaging, and on this visit he even treated us to a complimentary dessert, which was a wonderful gesture. It’s clear they care about both their food and their guests, and that keeps us coming back. Highly recommend!

This is some good food. Better then most commercial seafood spots. Please ask for extra fairy dust on your food, you won't regret it. My compliments to the chief.

I don’t ever leave reviews, but I told my boyfriend I had too. We’re not from the area and were just looking around and we came across this place. He was wanting chicken and I wanted seafood, so it was perfect! The reviews looked good so we gave it a try. I ordered the “seafood boil crablegs only” option, and that was the BEST sauce/crab i’ve EVER had. I’ve been telling all my family about it and we plan on coming back to try again. Was amazing and 100% recommend.
