First and last time going here. Food was amazing, but didn't realize until I got home that all items we ordered the check didn't mirror the menu prices. There was an upcharge on all the item's we ordered, roughly $5. It's not about the money but the principal of shady business practices.

The best Mexican food we've had in Richmond. It's a hidden gem. Service is great, food is always delicious, and it always comes so fast (super helpful when out to eat with littles). Also, it is immaculately clean.

We had the California burrito, shrimp dip, birria tacos, shrimp and crab quesadilla, and frozen margaritas. Food and drink was very delicious. We will return again and again. 10 out of 10.
Every time we have come here, it has been awesome, and it has become our new favorite Mexican restaurant. The servers are very attentive and nice. The gorditas are so delicious, so is the arroz con pollo and the horchata They have a salsa bar and coke products. Come here! You won’t be disappointed!

We picked up food to go, but the staff was friendly and the inside was festive and clean and much better than the outside gives it credit for. Therefore, don’t judge by the outside of the building. The food was delicious! I highly recommend the chicken Gorditas and the Burrito California. We will definitely be back! Another gem in Ashland!

This restaurant is a real hidden gem in Ashland, Virginia which is a town just north of Richmond on hwy 95. I picked the restaurant based on the excellent reviews and they were spot on! The California Burrito was very tasty and both of my sons loved the Burrito Los Altos. If you are vegetarian then the vegetarian quesadilla was a hit too. The sweetened ice tea was refreshing. Service was quick and very helpful. The washrooms were clean and functional. But the food…it was sooo good. I highly recommend this establishment.

I have the pleasure to review an eatery that brings substance to the table. next to the coin-op that has suffered through so many dismal restaurant and convenience store failures in an area devoid of any other choices. Today, you only go where you get what you pay for and I go here. Even the street tacos are a cut above. The ingredients are freshly prepared with the right type, quality and quantity that I would have difficulty in duplicating. It’s the extras. Cooked onions on the side in addition to… a sauce bar that adds flavor instead of overwhelming it. Value with a bag of chips and salsa to boot. The guy who runs it has left his mark on everything, making it the Best in the entire Ashland/ Richmond area. Bar none.

Really good food here. Donr k ow why people talk bad about it. We were the only ones in the place but the food was not bad at all. Great location. Decor was nice. Friendly staff who was attentive and even gave suggestions on what to order i will absolutely be back next time we are craving mexican food. Try the shrimp and fish tacos. Absolutely delicious shoes.
