It definitely lives up to it reputation. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere and employees were right on. Will be making it my go-to place more often.

This review is of the cafe. Had the wonderful Fig Pro Quo sandwich with excellent potato salad. My dining companion really enjoyed the tomato soup with salmon spread and crackers. Beer and wine. Great friendly quick service.

Chicken salad sandwich was nicely done.
There's a wine shop with some specialty items.
Popular spot on a cold rainy day.

My husband and I were in route back from Washington to Yorktown. I checked Trip Advisor for recommendations for lunch. This restaurant lived up to the high rating. We asked our server, Mack for her suggestions and she was spot on! This is a must for anyone that wants to enjoy flavors and deliciousness for lunch or dinner.

The Caboose is our absolute favorite dining spot whenever we're traveling to Richmond. There's always something new and interesting to try from daily specials to specialty beers. The staff is alway super friendly. The perfect spot for a quick bite. Don't skip out on the wine/beer store in the front of the building. There's everything from wine, beer, deli items and designer steaks to take to. Do yourself a favor and stop by soon. You won't be disappointed.

This restaurant was a bit out of the way from I-95 but well worth it! While everyone in my party enjoyed their dinners, I particularly liked the pimento cheese dip starter and my smoked salmon wrap.

We always try to stop here on our way from North Carolina to “Up North”. The food was excellent, tasty and warm on a very cold night. The servers were all attentive without being intrusive. Nice wine pour on a Thursday. The food was fresh and original, we really enjoyed this

The charcuterie portion was smaller than expected, but everything tasted great and I enjoyed my visit. The server was extremely helpful, and I was happy to see almost everything on the menu was gluten free or had a gf option.
