On Monday evening (8/26) we drove a considerable distance to the 'Trackside Grill' with the intention of having dinner - having first checked the website to confirm that they were open on Mondays. When we arrived, of course, there was a sign on the door simply saying 'Closed' - also on the door was the schedule, which showed 'Open' on Mondays. There were no details on the sign; no explanation. Learned much later that the place is closed - "permanently" - but nothing on website.

Parking: We had no trouble finding a parking spot - because they were closed.

This place is permanently CLOSED! It was just a matter of time. The person that purchased this restaurant, ran it into the ground by NOT knowing how to run a restaurant! This person also owns Sports Page in Ashland as well as the infamous Huddle Up bar and grill. Now, this SAME person is going to open ANOTHER eating establishment that used to be Ashland Coffee and Tea! Sports Page has gone downhill faster than an Olympic bobsled. Food, service, wait times and everything has suffered under the leadership or lack of, by this absentee owner.
I’ve been patronizing this restaurant for over 10 years and this last attempt at eating there sealed my decision never to eat there again. We had a chicken Philly wrap, a Sports Page Club Sandwich both with fries. which were included and two soft drinks. Does anyone think that $73.00 was a little too much for these choices? I for one will never pass through those doors again.

Ordered takeout today. Feet stuck to the floor all the way to the counter Ordered burger well done, no bun and wrapped in lettuce. Got to work - no lettuce, hamburger red inside.

Would be nice if the AC worked. So hot it makes you loose your appetite..

ABSOLUTELY a MUST!! The steak and shrimp was off the charts... had to stop myself from finishing it, just so I could have some for later!! Wife had the Catfish...let me tell ya...2 pieces, 10 inches long and 4 wide!!! Melts in your mouth. Our waitress ( Tea ) had the best personality and attitude, truly the best eating experience I've had hands down. So great to catch places like this... take the trip (40 min from home for us) keep places like this thriving!! We WILL be back.

No atmosphere & extremely loud. Food is ok, but lacks the variety & specials the old place had. All the old pictures are gone, no place to sit while you wait, all dark wood, dark paint & black booths. Nothing to absorb the sound.

Dietary restrictions: Very few gluten free dishes.

Had a cheeseburger and onion rings. Both very good.People with me had chicken tenders and a chicken salad sandwich with sweet potato fries. All got a big thumbs up.Service was quick, efficient and friendly. The restaurant was clean and relatively busy. Toilets were clean. They had booths and high chairs. Both good for families.Train tracks are right outside so you can see trains going past every once in a while.Overall, good and I'd definitely return here.

Parking: Lots of free on-street parking. Center of the town so easy to get to.

Kid-friendliness: High chairs and booths. Menu had a good variety of options for kids.

Train tracks right outside so you can watch trains rolling past every now and then.Definitely recommended.

Parking: Lots of street parking directly outside and within a short walk.

Kid-friendliness: Good menu options. High chairs. Booths available.
