Waffle house is still undefeated when it comes to the food being good and my order always being accurate! I dislike the fact they charge 20% extra for to-go orders though so i take one star off for that. I think thats pretty insane. I could understand 10% tops.

Have been to the Waffle House in Ashland many times. This time was the absolute worst. We ordered two allstar breakfasts when we received them the eggs managed to be scorched but the cheese not melted. I told the server I wasn’t eating that and to take something off my bill because we also didn’t get our waffles we eventually got one waffle and not the other when I mentioned it he was like I didn’t know, but how did you not know when you asked what kind, and when you didn’t bring them the first time I asked where our waffles were. The tea also was old and I couldn’t drink it so I asked for something else. The server we had clearly couldn’t do math and I never did figure out exactly what we were charged for but we paid it and left. We definitely won’t be going back to that one and I don’t recommend.

Waffle house has always been a favorite of mine. I am new to Virginia and the staff was very nice. Food was great and fast! I came from Tx where the go to was Whataburger but now that I am on the east coast that will change to Waffle house for 24 hour.

Just The Facts
Been to many waffle house restaurants around the country. Service has always been good to exceptional. This is the first time my experience was bad. Sulky waitress who didn't greet or take my order properly. She spoke some gibberish and I wasn't sure she actually took my order so I had to ask for another waitress who ensured my order was taken properly. The counter had left over mess from the previous customer. No fork or spoon offered. Never asked if I wanted a drink. Food was not great. Never understood; you should not bring your problems and rank attitude to work with you. Just find some other employment or live off welfare. Oops! I forgot, Trump is not giving free tickets to ride any longer. 😕
