Bravo! I had the Train Wreck sandwich, which seems to be a pretty unique featured offering. It was absolutely delicious! Had the home made chips on the side, which were everything I wanted them to be, and a nice slice of cinnamon coffee cake. I’m not in Bassett much, but I’ll definitely come back here when I am. 👍👍

Swift friendly servers, HOT food just as i like it! Sausage biscuit w egg. Locals stop in. A couple little shops near by, one for fun girls clothes. Watch the curve for traffic if you cross the road to look at the former rail station.

My first time there and it was worth the wait. The ham croissant was delicious and warm, and the macaroni salad was delicious. My friend got the homemade chips and I stole a few and they were also delicious! I will be back!...So, I went back! And this time I tried a hot dog with chili and cole slaw! It was delicious!!! I have never had such a good hot dog that I didn't make myself at home!!!

This little restaurant is definitely a diamond in the rough ,I found this place two months ago I’ve had the cheeseburgers. I’ve had the homemade fries. I’ve had the nachos with the Dorito chips. I have been satisfied with everything that I have eaten here so far it is a great place to eat. I just wish it wasn’t tucked away in Bassett. I travel 10 miles to eat at this little place.

Even during race weekend, Railway Cafe is unbeaten when it comes to breakfast in Henry County!!! Ive tried multiple items from here and enjoyed each one. I could taste the passion and in every bite. Homemade Ranch, Coleslaw, syrup, seasonings, and more to accentuate their wonderful dishes take each meal to the next level.
I recommend the Locomotive to everyone. Its a french toast sandwich that will take your taste buds on a grand journey. I'm sure you'll find your new favorite meal when you come here too.
For such a small place its packing massive vibes you'd expect somewhere else and I'm so glad its here. Everything is reasonably priced, the outside dining area is super pleasant, and the service is phenomenal!!!

Parking: Parking spots in front of the cafe fill up quick. Across the street there is a plenty of free parking. A pleasant place to enjoy the atmosphere by the train station.

We eat here while visiting the area 3-4 times per year. The food and service are always top notch. Stopped in for lunch today on the way out and had the special, potato soup with grilled cheese. Fantastic!

Love this spot! Since Kayla opened in 2019, she has risen above so many obstacles locally as well as the worldwide pandemic and she has continued to persevere and grow. She has a wonderful menu, a beautiful atmosphere inside and out, and a heart for compassion that is seen each time I am able to visit. Her staff are pleasant, friendly, and courteous. Pimento cheese fries, taco soup, and hotdogs were had with me and a friend today--- it was all just superb. Great job! Go check it out!
