Always a great meal with great service. Quaint old storefront makes the place pleasant. Everyone is nice. Great for big groups or couples. Their weekday date night special makes this restaurant a great bargain.

Good food. The owner and waitress were friendly and very helpful! Service was quick. We overheard the waitress say that they have a new menu every day, which we thought was pretty neat. The chunky blue cheese dressing is AMAZING!Dietary restrictions: Everything is made from scratch, so they can easily work with you.

We used to really enjoy eating here. Over the last few years the food has fallen off terribly. It seems like they have given up and don't care anymore. Even with the date night deal -- which we used to take advantage of pretty regularly -- it's just not worth it. So disappointing! My husband and I miss how good it was once. I'm giving it two stars solely based on the memories of the good experiences we had here years ago.

Walking into this restaurant I feel like my expectations were raised to a false high awaiting a disappointing end result with mixture of the fine dining sign and how picky I can be with withe word Chef... Again going through the menu and hearing the special for the day by the knowledgeable and friendly staff I was hesitant to take the leap for what I wanted and nearly just ordered a steak and salad to play it safe. However I ordered the halibut even tho I was reluctant and sure I would leave hungry as I tend to when I order fish. To combat this I order Mac and cheese bites... the staff leave and place my order with the kitchen and I can finally look around a bit. The ambiance is wonderful. Live plants, art and a comfortable setting was very relaxing. So my wedge salad and Mac and cheese bites arrive and the lettuce was so crisp and fresh perfectly portioned with toppings. The the Mac and cheese bites were so unique, the texture breading and I belive a horseradish herb creamy dip (something I normally wouldn't event eat) there were amazing and fresh take on elevated Mac and cheese bites. However when the main dish came it was clear this restaurant didn't fit in with its demographic competition. (Local eateries).Every bite cooked to absolute perfection. The halibut with buttery lime sauce was exquisite by taste and texture. Each bite as good as the last and again delightfully balanced with the right amount of each component so you can taste every ingredient. Served with delicious green beans and potatoes (sometimes asparagus I hear!)Again every bite as good as the last. This is a Chef experience for sure!!As hard as I have looked for golden nuggets in this new river valleyTonight I found a diamond. You owe yourself a plate from this chef!!

Went to a Christmas party here last year and had a great meal, Chesapeake Bake I believe it was called. Went this year and the menu was limited to chicken, prime rib, and I believe some type of fish. I chose the prime rib and unfortunately it was tough and overcooked (I ordered medium rare). We were with a party of about 25 peole and everyone's prime rib looked the same. We didn't complain because we were with a large party and my date was too shy to send hers back and I felt the same (and, if we had sent ours back I believe everyone in the party would have followed, which would have costed the restaurant quite a bit). But, I'm hoping this was just an off night for the Social Club and the prime rib was just not up to party and got overcooked. The appetizers and sides tasted great and the service was very good.

Truly the best restaurant in Bedford with the best staff and food. Chef and manager work so hard and give the best experience to all their customers. Go for your birthday or a celebration and they put your name on the menu! The hospitality, the service, the vibe and the food are all 5 star! Love the social club!

Food here was very good & server was friendly & knowledgeable. However, it took a LONG time for food to come out. We ordered an appetizer which arrived in an appropriate amount of time but then we waited & waited & waited for our entrees to arrive. By the time they arrived we'd been there over an hour (and we had ordered shortly after arriving). Additionally, my wife initially ordered barbecued shrimp & grits but was informed after 5-10 minutes that they were out of grits. Seems like a strange thing to run out of since grits are not a high-spoilage, freshness-is-a-must item. Other than those fairly minor issues, it was a good experience.

This is a real find! Located in the sleepy little town of Bedford, the place doesn't look like much, but the food is sublime. We ventured in on a Wednesday evening, when they have "date night " specials -- more on that later. We split the pot stickers as an appetizer, and these were fresh, delicious, with just a bit of char to make them extra flavorful. We followed this with cucumber soup, which was just out of this world. Served cold, it was refreshing, delicious and perfectly seasoned. Think gazpacho, with no tomatoes. As an entree, my wife had chicken Budapest. This is a chicken breast served with caramelized onions and Gouda cheese with a paprika sauce. She described its taste as 'nectar of the gods.' I, with some hesitation, ordered halibut; after all, halibut is a fish that is extremely easy to dry out, and Bedford, being 200 miles from the coast, is not exactly known for its fresh seafood. I needn't have worried. The fish was fantastic, served in a lemon and caper sauce over a bed of linguine. Perfectly moist and delicious, it was the best halibut I have ever eaten in a restaurant. For dessert, we shared a slice of chocolate mousse pie, which was also very good. I'd highly recommend this place just for the food, but Wednesday and Thursday nights are' date night'. That means you get an appetizer to share, two soups or salads, two entrees, and a dessert for $60. AND, to top it off, they even include a full size bottle of wine for that price. Now that's a deal! Needless to say, we'll be back. In fact, we made another reservation for two weeks hence, just after finishing dinner that evening.

Had been wanting to go to this restaurant for awhile and finally took my son to it one Friday night. We were seated quickly in this eclectic restaurant but unfortunately getting our food took an inordinate amount of time. We did notice that most other tables had alcoholic beverages so maybe that would have made the wait and experience a bit better. I got the grilled talapia which was smothered in garlic thereby eliminating any other flavors. 30 minutes after I’m still reeking of garlic. The side dishes - the pasta was ordinary and asparagus was tasty but only 5 I think. My son’s steak ordered medium rare came well done. Not sure if they had a desert menu because we were never offered one. Overall a disappointing experience - if I visit again I’ll make sure to have some cocktails.
