Delicious food, fast friendly service with a very pleasant atmosphere. My favorite place to eat.

The fried rice was pretty good, but I wasn't impressed with the lo mein or the pork dumplings. The noodles were mushy and the dumplings, though fried, were rubbery and sadly inedible. But if fried rice is your thing, you can't go wrong.

You guys need to list what's spicy or not on your online menu. Just wasted 15 dollars on an entree that wasn't listed as spicy so I got it thinking I'd be good. (I have asthma attacks from spicy food) got home with it and about died taking the first bite it was so spicy.

Best in the area. Eat here weekly. Have had several different meals. Would recommend the hibachi, lo mein, and hunan dishes!

Very good food. Consistent. Atmosphere is casual and comfortable with booths. Portions are plentiful. I enjoy shrimp dishes and always serve large shrimps. Example with both Hunan and Szechuan entrees. Wonton soup also excellent. Very hard working restaurant.

I ordered the Buddas Delight and it was terrible. It was nothing but brocolli and carrots in a tasteless brown sauce. There are so many great Asian veggies and they didn't use any of them. I was really disappointed 😕

I live in Lynchburg so I don't get to come here frequently but every time I've eaten here I've thoroughly enjoyed it. We always get our orders to go and the egg rolls never make it home, hard to believe, but they're the best I've ever eaten anywhere in the world. The rest of their offerings are equally amazing. My only complaint is that you can't get just a plain order of char siu. That seems to be something endemic to Virginia as far as I can tell. Still, a great spot for Chinese food.

We always appreciate a visit to China Taste. Our family has been going for years. It's the only sit-down style Chinese restaurant in the area. There is a big menu with a broad array of options including your usual takeout style favorites, Thai food and hibachi, and the most amazing homemade dumplings!! Try them. Most places now are serving premade frozen ones. These are unique.

They serve wonton chips and sauce as your complementary appetizer too.

Cheerful, friendly service and speedy cooking. They also don't ever skimp on the veggies, which I appreciate.

I got the lemon chicken. It was OK, but not what I was expecting. It came with two fried chicken cutlets, a bowl of lemon sauce, and a bowl of rice. I was only able to eat one. The chicken was oddly tough despite being a cutlet. I probably wouldn't get this dish here again.

I also got the Buddha's Delight from the special diet section because I wanted the clear sauce. The guy told me it was steamed, which I thought was OK. I was expecting the dish with ginger, garlic, and onions for flavor. The dish I got was just steamed vegetables with brown sauce on the side. Again, it's not what I was expecting. But at least there were a lot of vegetables like broccoli, Napa cabbage, sliced carrots, and snap peas.

The last item I ordered was pan- fried wontons (10). I wanted something like pot stickers instead of deep-fried dumplings. The wontons appeared to be fried in a pan because one side was darker. But, the wontons were basically deep-fried.

The takeaway is that the menu is misleading. If I ate here again, I'm not sure what I should get except the wontons. I might try another vegetable dish if I go again.
