We make it a point to visit 404 Cafe and Creamery anytime we're in the area! From delicious baked goods to amazing drinks and yummy ice cream, they have so many wonderful items to try!

I usually don’t leave reviews but the customer service was absolutely horrible. Walk in not greeted but the girl walked up to my girlfriend and I and just stared. Had to speak to her first. Felt like we were got looked down on. Definitely won’t be coming back. No matter how good business the biggest down fall will be bad workers. Hopefully they get some better people working there

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 404 Coffee & Creamery is hands down one of the best spots in Big Stone Gap. The coffee is consistently amazing, the treats are top-tier, and the staff? Some of the kindest, most welcoming people you’ll ever meet. I’ve spent a lot of time here with friends from all walks of life—including many who are LGBTQ+—and every single one of us has always felt safe, respected, and genuinely valued. The owners go out of their way to create a space that’s warm, inclusive, and community-focused. They don’t just talk the talk—they live it, in who they hire, how they treat people, and how much love they pour into this place. If you're looking for a place with great coffee, sweet treats, and even sweeter people—this is it. Come on down and see for yourself. 💖🥐☕️🍦

@404Cafe&Creamery is a great gathering place in Big Stone Gap, where you're almost always likely to run into friends or neighbors, as everyone is welcome here! There is something for everyone at 404. The ice cream is excellent, there are always incredible baked goods, a regular breakfast and lunch menu, plus daily specials and a once-a-month Sunday brunch offering. I love that there’s a constant presence of Made In Virginia items served and sold in the retail section. 404 takes #SupportLocal to heart with their ingredients and their products. The owners are actively involved in our community as dedicated volunteers and are always open to new ideas that can help grow our community. Then, when you add the seasonal addition of locally grown BloomBerry Farms strawberries, raspberries, black raspberries, and blackberries, well, I can’t say enough about this local business and their embracing for the community.

The best & sweatiest workers & items come from 404.. doesn’t matter if you want a baked good ice cream or a coffee of some sort! The 404 has your back & always with a smile!

First morning coffee and we stopped off the highway here to a friendly welcome. Mrs. K. and I each enjoyed our coffees - a latte for her and a cortado that was more like a large flat white for me. The blueberry muffin with it was perfect - light and fluffy and with big juicy blueberries inside. The two coffees and the muffin were inexpensive which is always a great bonus.

Restrooms were also in perfect condition.

This is an easy five star review.

Delicious ice cream with very helpful and lovely staff. The Spiced Chai is so rich and creamy too! Definitely worth the stop! Love that they’re open late, going to make this a regular stop after coming home from Norton!

Always have a wide array of sweets that cater to almost everyone! From sugar free to Gluten free, and all are delicious! Everyone is always super kind and eager to help! Love their Chai with almond milk and all the sugar free lattes!!
