My wife and I had breakfast there today and it was awesome. To say the food is great is an understatement, it was fantastic.

We just had breakfast at The Pastry Cottage. The BEST omelet I have had in years. The pastry’s are incredible. What a hidden gem in Big Stone Gap!

I can't remember the last time I had such a good danish. The fresh, buttery goodness cannot be rivaled!

I don’t usually give 5 stars because something has to be exceptional. Well, at the Pastry Cottage, you have exceptional service. Our waitress was also the owner and she treated us better than family! It was such a treat to show up for breakfast with our whole family of 7 and she was just so helpful and caring. Now, about the food - the chicken, apple, onion biscuit-illa was out of this world. The owner suggested it and I rarely take suggestions. I am so glad I did this time. It’s biscuit dough rolled out and the stuffed with chicken pieces, fried apple, caramelized onions and cheddar cheese. Do yourself a favor and experience such yumminess with Southern Hospitality!

This a great hidden gem. My husband and I got an omelet and the comfort platter, and we were both impressed. Good coffee, too. It's very clean, the service was very friendly and fast, and the ambiance is nice and inviting. The owners are a married couple who do all the work themselves, and they're great people. After the tip, we spent $25. We were impressed with that, too! Definitely worth finding this place!

Best breakfast I’ve had in a while! Omelette was excellent! Pancakes were perfect! Bacon, toast and potatoes were just as good!!

Had the gyro bowl today was SO good and the tzatziki sauce was amazing!!! The cranberry white chocolate pastry was amazing as well!

A wonderful place! Me and some family members come here time to time, and the food is amazing! I always get boba, it's the best! The people are kind and it's a very beautiful area. I definitely recommend!
