First time at Mitchell’s. The hush puppies were so great I got seconds (and thirds)! Also, tried the tasty Greek gyro which was a nice surprise to find in a small town. Friendly, helpful owners. Next time I’m in town I’ll go back!
I really wanted to like this place. We are getting married in Blackstone and have had a few people tell us to check Mitchell’s out as they do catering. First, it was the worst service I’ve ever had. We actually tipped the waitress at the other table more than we tipped ours because she helped us more than ours. My husbands chicken salad sandwich was good. My Greek chicken was still raw and they forgot my salad. My mom’s chicken was also still raw. My stepdads fried fish...read full review
the stew we had was greasy. the grilled cheese was cd. like it was pre-made and had been sitting in a warmer. we won't be back
