Like most restraunts (and there aren't that many) in Blackstone Va the vibe is very casual hometown.
I got the pulled pork barbecue and was given the choice of Carolina or Memphis style. I will always choose Carolina and I found that vinegar base pretty enjoyable. Ours was a group of 8 and we went thru 4 pitchers of beer and appetizer servings of hot wings (hot) , shrimp and fries. All were tasty.
The service was friendly and tolerant as im sure we got louder as the beer disappeared. One other bit of info, if you get a room for the night at the Wedgewood Motel you drink your fill and then walk back to your motel. No car ride necessary.

Staff were friendly and food was pretty good. But the prices were very high and the service was very slow. Will probably pass through next time.

Food was delicious, huge selection to choose from, however the prices are steep, $80.00 for 2 people with 2 apps and 2 sandiches and 2 sodas. Overall, good dining experience.

We were charged for a glass of water 😩 and gratuity was included in the bill.

Breakfast was alright but overpriced. What stung most was the $3 for a mediocre cup of coffee and 50 cent glass of ice water. Add state tax and city meals tax and you’re almost at $4. And still need to leave a tip. If this had been premium coffee and Perrier - maybe - but as it was - an insult ! Won’t be back.
