I’ve spent a lot of time on the border, growing up and living Texas for 45 years. This place is AMAZING. I would put it in the top five Mexican food restaurants I’ve eaten at in my life. The perfect combination of authentic ingredients and menu items. I was very surprised to find this gem in Virginia.
When we left our native NorCal in 2007, we thought we had kissed delicious Mexican food goodbye. Year after year, time after time, state after state, we had our hopes crushed by restaurants that looked the part but never hit the mark.
