Okay so if you know me, you know I have bathroom problems. Today, unfortunately it hit me pretty hard. I have no Gallbladder as well as I have IBS. Me and my best friend was out shopping at Ollie’s in Bluefield (In which their bathrooms was shut down) and I knew I had to get somewhere or else, well we all know what would happen. So I walked into Joes Pizza & Subs in Bluefield Va, I asked if they had a bathroom but unfortunately before I could hear an answer I had to run to their bathroom or I was going to have a bigger mess on my hands. While doing so, the lady proceeds to come out of the back of the store and tell Gracie that this is a small business and that it was not a public bathroom and she had to buy something, which is no problem, however the way she said it was very rude. Then Gracie proceeded to tell her, I’m very sorry my best friend has health issues and she has a bathroom card she just does not have it with her, then Gracie proceeded to say she will take a juice, however when Gracie pulled out her card, the lady then told her they do not take cards and she has to buy something. Well Gracie said she does not have change, and had to dig out quarters to pay for this juice while telling Gracie she can’t just let anybody use their bathroom and that she doesn’t get much business. Then once I came out Gracie was almost in tears and was like, “can we please leave” then we get outside and the juice had expired by a few days… My point here is if you want business maybe consider being kinder to people when they walk in, we obviously had no problem buying something but the way she came out with it and spoke was ridiculous

Food was good but pizza was a bit spicy. Lady waiting on us was nice enough but we ordered water and saw nothing about a charge for it. Went to pay our bill and was charged $1.00 for each glass of water. She said nothing about a charge for water which is free anywhere else. We did not get a bottle of water.

Never knew how good the food was. Lady on the phone was rude trying to place an order... who runs a pizza parlor and doesn't know what a chicago style deep dish is? A chicago style pizza was what we were wanting, she said they didn't do that she didn't know what we were talking about... when I went in to place an order the lady in front sat on her phone in a chair and ignored me for at least a minute and only two people were inside eating. I went to Bellacinos. No pizzeria doesn't know what a Chicago style deep dish is and no one around here ignores their customers. It's honestly sad cause I was wanting to try this place but nevermind

Joe, his friendly wife, and other staff make and serve the best calzone and pizzas 60 miles in every direction! We frequent Beckley, Wytheville, and many other places, and when we want great Italian food, Joe's is our favorite place!! We always receive respect, a nice smile, and fast service from all staff, owners included! Joe always makes sure to talk with our grandchildren, ages 6 and 7 years. It is a breath of fresh air to be treated so well.Kid-friendliness: Joe talked with our 7 y/o grandson about fishing ?.Wheelchair accessibility: There are ramps from the open parking lot to the walk and easy access through the double doors.

I ordered and pointed at the food item i wanted -pizza sub- and when she brought the food it was the wrong item and she proceeded to berate me even tho i had someone else confirm i had said pizza sub. She then told me shed fix it but we were not welcome anymore so we paid for our drinks, wich were in dirty glasses and left.
Wait time was reasonable, their pleasant and cheerful service was welcomed,food was just coming out hot and ready, got it home and was still oven hot, portions are plentiful and the food is so good in our house when it's Joe's there is No leftovers.

It has been a while since I ate here. I ordered a meat lovers pizza. It was only ground beef and no other meats. It was probably a religious reason there was no pork on it.The price was higher than the menu they handed me to order from.

I was on Vacation visiting the area and Love this restraunt. The Chicken Schwarma Wrap & Flaffels with Tahini, had a nice Chili flavoring and was Great! And Added Plus, is they are Family Friendly, treating their guest like family. ?️ ? ♥️ ? ?️
