Wonderful and classic tavern ambiance, with the best burgers and fries within 100 miles. Service is top notch and there is live music every night!!! Along with the great burgers, there is a terrific giant haddock sandwich, fish and chips and a humongous open-faced roastbeef sandwich with an amazing brown gravy. Cozy, lived-in, never seedy. The proprietress is tireless, friendly, and attentive. Wood surfaces make for warm acoustics. It's an excellent place to hear some music and chill out.

My father in law has been telling me about this places for a few years and I finally got to have a meal with him there and it did not disappoint. Probably one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had, and the fries were incredibly fresh. Even my picky children only had good things to say.

A must stop if you are in the area. It’s a beer and wine joint. The chicken fritters were delicious 🤤. The service was outstanding.

I would've given it all 5 stars had it not been for the customer service. I don't want to speak on why our party was given attitude anytime we asked to order something, which completely blew my mind, but I will never know because I don't plan on ever going back. Other than that, they really do have a cute place there, I did enjoy the atmosphere. Wings and fried pickles were great, I would recommend those.

This restaurant Tavern was established in 1946 & is still going strong..Very friendly owners & excellent live music performances on the weekends! Wait till you try the french fries!! Head over & you'll love it!

Great inexpensive bar food. Friendly folks. I went on blues open mike night (8 pm,last Thursday of the month) and the music was outstanding. Get there early because there was only one bar stool left when I arrived at 7:15.
