Wonderful and classic tavern ambiance, with the best burgers and fries within 100 miles. Service is top notch and there is live music every night!!! Along with the great burgers, there is a terrific giant haddock sandwich, fish and chips and a humongous open-faced roastbeef sandwich with an amazing brown gravy. Enjoy a cold beer or something from their extensive wine selection. This place is FIRE!!!
Cozy, lived-in, never seedy. The proprietress is tireless, friendly, and attentive. Wood surfaces make for warm acoustics. It's an excellent place to hear some music and chill out.
My father in law has been telling me about this places for a few years and I finally got to have a meal with him there and it did not disappoint. Probably one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had, and the fries were incredibly fresh. Even my picky children only had good things to say.
