After going to the winery, we looked around for a nice place to go for dinner and found the Pine Grove restaurant. It was easy to find on the old route seven or Pine Grove Road.

Gotta have the local take on eggs Benedict: sausage, gravy, and egg on biscuit with home fries. Mmm mmm good!

Coffee is terrible. Breakfast was ok. Grits had a consistency that as a southern boy, I have never experienced.

The food was absolutely fantastic. We were so happy to stumble upon this gem of a restaurant. Service was great our server was so sweet. They also have really yummy cinnamon rolls as well as great sandwiches and burgers. All the ingredients were very fresh.

As new residents of the area it was our first time checking out this restaurant in hopes to be new regulars. We sat at a table in the back that had a book shelf of books. While sitting waiting for our food for 55 minutes after ordering we were reading some of the books and trying to wait patiently while showing each other recipes in a cookbook, when suddenly we were scolded by the young male server in a loud tone to not touch the books. We were under the assumption that this was a homestyle experience where you could read/play games and enjoy your wait. The 55 minute wait was not bothering us because we were having a fun time reading, but after getting scolded like a kid and having to wait 30 more minutes it ruined the mood. The way the server handled this ruined our morning. He needs to learn better communication skills or read the room. We are a middle aged couple not a couple of 2 year olds looking at books. At the very least if you do not want someone to touch the books perhaps you should provide proper signage on the book shelves. The food was very good, but the interaction of being treated like toddlers ruined our experience.
