Baked spaghetti had no flavor Mac salad taste like liquid mayo.
Wife got chicken fillet they do it little different it was chunks of chicken. She didn’t like it
Won’t be going back.

My wife and I have been to the restaurant a few times and have not been satisfied. So after a year I had a friend coming through and he wanted to have lunch. I said well we could give Holly Jo’s another try. I ordered the lunch special of Crispy chicken sandwich with fries as did my wife and she got the home made chip's. My friend ordered chicken tenders with fries. When the food came out the fries were dark brown as were the chicken sandwiches and tasted like burnt oil. As we didn’t have time to deal with complaining and waiting for the food to be remade as my friend was taking a lunch break and had to get back to NC. We are residents here in Franklin county and where we live we don’t have much choices on places to eat close to where we live. I am very disappointed as many times as we have been to Holly Jo’s that the food is not up to par.

Food was very bland, no seasoning at all. The house made ranch was runny like it had been watered down to stretch the use of it. $9.25 for a small handful of fried pickles seemed a bit high compared to other local restaurants.

I went to eat a nice dinner one night last week and I was served a half raw chicken sandwich, I asked the server to take it back to get a fresh one. I ended up waiting over 30 minutes and I got back a cold and very dry Sandwhich and was refused to be brought a hot one as I would have figured I should've been given but I would not eat at this sham of a restaurant. Be careful what you eat at this business.

Stopped in today for the first time. Don’t think we will be back. Food was sub par to put it nicely. Wait time was longer than expected considering the small amount of customers. Seasoning definitely makes a difference. Appetizer pricing was off a handful of fried pickles for $9.25 seemed a bit much when a burger and fry is only a few dollars more.

We love Holly Jo and her staff. We always have great service. Food is great. I definitely recommend the Jack Me Up Salad. Delicious!! Fun place to have a good meal, and to hang out with our friends! Many memories made, and more to make!

Do yourself a favor if you have ANY respect for women, children or yourself. Don’t support a business that promotes sexualizing CHILDREN for financial gain of a business.

Staff is kind and very friendly. Mac and cheese is served fully seperated however unfortunately. A good quarter cup of oil at the bottom of my dish and a mass of stuck congealed cheese and pasta on top. I always love to support local when I can.

As a career chef Id recommend keeping it in a cooler steam well and using more cream in the recipe to prevent separation as well as not using it for multiple services.

Mark our waiter was very friendly and personable. Food was very good. I had a salad which was very fresh and filling & my husband had a chicken Philly flatbread. The home made chips are delish with a hint of honey & garlic! Such a cute, inviting place on 220 along the river.

This was our second time here and everything was great!! I have never liked pimento cheese but my husband got pork rinds which come with pimento cheese and it was SO GOOD!! I got a steak sandwich which was delicious and he got the sandwich called a hot mess and he said it was amazing. We highly recommend Holly Jo's!!

We had been on the road for almost 13 hours and were exhausted and hungry. We had been scanning for a restaurant for miles and there she was. The atmosphere and decor were great, just an unpresumptous roadside eatery. Staff was great, attentive, polite, informative. Were there when you needed them and not when you didn't. The food was good old stick to your ribs yummy fare. Good time, thumbs-up.

Absolute gem in an unfortunate location, Holly Jo's decor and staff make sure you know how welcome you are and how seriously they take hospitality. Warm, welcoming, engaging, and oozing with personality, I would not want to miss this place passing through.

Loved this place! Great food, so many good options to choose from! The Monday special baked spaghetti was just what I wanted and a heaping serving! The fried green beans and Exs sandwich was delicious too. Yummy dessert options, ice cream, coffee, food, beer...a little bit of everything. The service was great from super friendly staff. The atmosphere was nice with a quaint small town feel right off the highway. Definitely give this place a try. I'd be a regular if I lived near there!

I have been here many times now. This little gem of a place serves some great food, ranging from southern dishes to uniquely theirs. I have always had excellent service. The servers and staff at Holly Jo's are top notch! I have gotten some great food, but after a long, long wait today (hour+), the food came and while it was fresh and hot, it did not have very much flavor and ultimately was not worth the wait. Ice cream was top notch though!

Overall, this place is a 4.5-5 star every visit. It's really unique and well run. I strongly recommend you visit this local place some time!
